Sweetwater Wings
Jeff used to snicker when his grandmother said that the wing was the best part of the chicken. This house specialty, marinated 24 hours, dredged in spices and fried, confirms her thesis though. We get our wings packed in ice, delivered fresh every morning from the eastern market and sell 15 forty-pound cases daily. Quite frankly, chicken wings are what we do! The flavor is so unique and delicious that once you try sweetwater wings, you'll be hooked for life - enjoy. Our award-winning wings (best in Detroit" - Detroit free press) are served with celery sticks and Bleu cheese.

For starters we use only Hormel Special Trim ribs, the best money can buy! They're slowly cooked in our five hour cooking process, and then blackened in our piquant house-made sauce. Our first impression of the restaurant was the lobby wasn’t very clean, but not a big deal because we knew that had recently snowed and maybe sat their dirty bag or shoes on the chairs in the lobby,, but mostly our bad experience came from the employee that took our order! We asked her about the two different types of chicken and she in our opinion was pretty rude when she said look at the picture on the wall, which was first looks like a picture of a picture, meaning poor quality....

This was fantastic for the price! The seasoned chicken was perfect-meaning you didnt have to add anything to it. A healthy amount of bleu cheese with an equal part of dried cherries, large portion of pecans! The vinagrette was drive worthy for again...im from Lansing!
