I had a Retirement party on July 1, 2023 and they did the catering for the Chicken wings and Catfish. The food was excellent and delicious. Everyone asked me at the party who cooked the Chicken and Catfish. I told them Express Way Fish and Chicken.They made sure the food was hot and ready at 4:00 pm, the time that I requested. They called me at the time they were cooking the food to make sure the food was going to be ready at the time I requested. They did a wonderful and excellent job, and the food was Delicious!Thank you T, you and your staff made my guests and myself very happy at my party! I will be hiring your company for future catering jobs!

Ordered whole wings, okra, fries, chicken sandwich, and hush puppies. The only item remotely tasty was the okra and even still, it wasnt seasoned. EVERYTHING else was very bland and underwhelming. The chicken sandwich was actually disgusting and was just 2 small tenders with some kind on vinaigrette that made the bun, lettuce, and chicken soggy. There was no mayo or tomatoto be found.

Worse place I have ever been. Forgot most of my order and wanted me to come back. I wanted a credit which he said no. Then he came around the corner whete i lived and through something on the table. I'm like who is the crazy owner. The food was gross and the place should just closed.

First thing, the restaurant is a little difficult to find because it is in a strip mall off of a major street. The staff was a young man with really beautiful eyes which gave the restaurant a boost. But, his costumer service needs a little work. He generally gave one or two word answers.The inside of the restaurant was moderately clean and the restroom which is single person use was filthy. When I entered the toilet was filled with urine and there was a smell that I could only assume that it had been sitting there for awhile.When it came down to the food, it was pretty well prepared. The collard greens were a little watery and lacked seasoning. The macaroni and cheese was pretty good and the fish (catfish and whiting) were a little above average which was great.I also ordered some hush puppies. They were not as hot as the fried fish which was a little bit of a disappointment.The carry out containers were very well designed. However, they are made of cardboard/paper like material so moisture in a plastic bag ruined them quickly.

The Catfish and shrimp baskets are wonderful!!The Cod and the Whiting are also very good.The 3 young men that took my order on the 3 different times I've stopped in,Quite professional in the way they took care the customer;They were a big reason I've returned 3 times! If the owners continue the excellent standard they're showing currently, more success will certainly follow.

I am very confused about the few bad reviews I see, I was concerned about coming but when I made the final decision to eat here I loved it. The place was actually very organized and clean there was so many space and as someone with bad anxiety I didn’t have to worry about feeling watched or judged by other people. 10/10 will definitely come more often.

We happily bypassed all of the restaurants in terrible Troy, MI and arrived here.Lunch was fantastic! We shared catfish and chicken tenders. Both were generously sized (we got two of each). The catfish was the traditional southern fried type. The fries were delicious! Mine were unseasoned but still tasted amazing!
