I honestly had a terrible experience here. The food came out really cold and tasted like it had been sitting around for a while, definitely not fresh. To make things worse, the owner/manager had a terrible attitude, which made the whole situation even more frustrating. The only good part of the visit was the servers, they were polite and did their best despite everything else. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

I went with some friends and told a joke, the owner heard my joke and didn't like the joke and kicked me out of the restaurant, before I got my food, insisted I pay for food I ordered but never received and when I tried to leave, he threatened me and told me I had to pay because the kitchen already started making the food

I wanted my server and the owner said no that it was his restaurant. I said it like 3 times and he said no it's my restaurant. Than he follows me to my car and tries to fight me after I said something and hits my car.

Good place for dine in or carry-out. Parking can get cramped out front. You may run into a small wait for seating.

Clean, friendly environment. Good portions and fast service. Had the chicken katsu curry rice and was surprised how flavorful the beef curry was. Will definitely return.

Have been going here for years. Always had great experience and great sushi. Haven't seen any change since new owners so thats good.highly recommend for high quality tasting sushi on a friendly budget

We took a chance on Black Pine Tree Sushi Bar without seeing a menu online—and it totally paid off! Their vegetarian section was better than expected, and they even made us a custom teriyaki tofu that stole the show. When the tofu hit the table on a sizzling cast iron plate, it turned heads—and started an order frenzy. The tofu was firm (we usually like extra firm), but it soaked up the sauce beautifully, and that sizzling presentation sealed the deal. The real winner of the night? The sweet potato sushi roll—lightly battered in tempura, crispy on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside. Absolutely addictive. Watch out for the soy sauce bottles—ours may have been swapped between regular and low-sodium. Friendly service, cozy setting, and a surprisingly veggie-friendly menu. A great stop for plant-based sushi lovers who still want some sizzle with their soy. 🍣🔥🌱
