The BEST Authentic Family owned and ran Mexican Restaurant Downriver! The mother or grandmother is the cook and boy is her food delicious! The daughter/or granddaughter is the server and the most attentive and kindest server there is! The chips and salsa, mild and hot are amazing! But the BEST in my opinion is their street steak tacos dinner with beans and rice! The beans are filling and the rice flavorful! The portions are big! It really feels like comfort and friends you're visiting when you come to eat instead of a restaurant. This is absolutely my favorite place to get Mexican food!

I ordered the burrito dinner and a queso and chips and it was very disappointing. The dinner was incredibly bland. The burrito was fine but lacking flavor, the rice had no seasoning and the beans were old and hard. The "queso" was just plain gas station nacho cheese and the chips were on the stale side. There are many better Mexican restaurants in the area, I would not recommend this one.

The food was delicious! Very authentic and friendly service. I had the chimichangas with rice and beans. The chimichangas were cooked to perfection , with just the right amount of crunch to my satisfaction. They give a really good portion of food as well, which lead me to have to get a take out box. I highly recommend trying this place.

Food is amazing!! First time trying it today, boyfriend and I always drive by but never got the chance to try it till now and we loved it! Definitely recommend. I love their chimichangas! So good

Was in the mood for street tacos so I stopped by, only to be disappointed. The flavor just wasn't there, and the ratio of meat to tortilla was off. I'll stick to the taco stand.

I had high hopes from seeing the reviews and wanted to try it but I should have just drove past. The guy serving was very nice and attentive but the food was not good. Ordered tacos and there was more tortilla than meat. Meat was very bland and the rice tasted bland as well. Very nice people just not worth the money I spent.

This is the second time I have come during their "open" hours when they aren't actually open. Even on their front door it says open til 8:30, but yet nobody is here and everything is dark.

Made a simple request. Fajita but in a burrito... silence on their end like we were asking for gold plated fajitas. So we asked for just the fajitas, no dinner and please put a burrito tortilla in the bag. NOPE. Got maybe 5 onions, 2 peppers NO cheese and 3 tiny stale tortillas. Never ordering here again. Also the fajita dinner cost 14.99 on door dash but they charged us 16 for JUST FAJITAS

Catered food was prepared and packaged so nicely! Loved the chicken, just enough flavor. Portions were large and met our needs.

HIGHLY recommend 👍🏼 I was hosting an event a few miles away and needed to feed a staff of 15 hungry individuals. Not only was the burrito express staff incredibly kind and helpful in ordering, but the food was outstanding! Portions were great, (maybe a little too much salsa, lol, ) but the food was truly delicious, delivered piping hot, and the Mexican cookies were an amazing dessert finish. Thank you!!
