Captain Jay's Fish & Chicken

The food was amazing and fresh! Jose was excellent with great communication skills! And the atmosphere was very chill and relaxed!! I highly recommend this place.

First of all, my order was taken wrong. I ordered jumbo shrimp and they gave me large. Then I waited for jumbo shrimp and paid the difference in price and they looked just like the large. It was a total waste of money and time. They need to remove shrimp from their menu. On top of that, I ordered a small fried okra and fries and they looked like 1/2 orders and were not hot. Never again!!!

The service was really good however the food was just okay the bread had mold in it and was not edible. It was my first time trying this location. I don’t plan on returning and will not recommend to anyone.

Ordered perch, 4 chicken wings, and banana pudding. Was served nasty, stinky catfish, two chicken legs, undercooked shrimp and a plain bowl of pre-made artificial pudding, with nothing in it. Also paid for extras I did not receive. YUCK!

I ordered fish and fries. There was one person ahead of me. I placed my order and waited at least 20 minutes. The cashier asked what my name was. I told her and about 5 minutes later, she threw the bag on the counter and called my name. I took my order home. The fish was hard and almost inedible, the fries were soggy and cold. The only thing worth eating was the small cup of coleslaw. I sent an email to the corporate office and they never responded. I will never eat at this place again and Noone else should either. I have gotten better fish at a pizza place that also sells fish.

I ordered a 3 tenders meal. It took forever for my food ( well over 20 minutes ) time was on my receipt. Was offered 1 sauce with my almost $12 meal. A half filled 2 oz container of ranch... any additional sauce I was going to be charged extra for. Packslip in my bag said my meal came with coleslaw but none was to be found. Fries were nasty frozen foodservice fries, and my roll was some generic kings Hawaiian rolls that tasted old dry and stale like it had been sitting out of the wrapper for 2 days. The tenders were decent but nothing exceptional. This was the worst VALUE imaginable and poorest service. When I explained to the young lady handing me my food this was my first time here and most likely my last.... All she could respond to me was... "word" . Jesus .... Seriously .... There was nothing about this experience that would ever make me want to come back. Additionally One of the workers family came in while I sat and waited for my food. They came in walked behind the counter and helped themselves to food that was clearly set aside for them. Sat down and ate husband and child. Then packed a bag with 2 or 3 desserts to go... And you want to charge me extra for a 2nd 1 oz portion of sauce for my 3 tenders meal that cost close to 12$ . I can get handfuls of sauce at Taco Bell usually given by the employees. I don't anticipate this place will be in business much longer if it continues to operate like this.

I had the chicken wing dinner my husband had the perch dinner. We both enjoyed the well seasoned food.

Update!!!!
The Mac and Cheese I bragged about in my previous post they are always out of. I ordered a food order of $70.70 and they called me and said they were out of Mac and cheese so I said I would keep my order and they said they would not charge me for the almost $20.00 worth of Mac and cheese but I would keep the rest of the order. Well they took my money and didn't give me the food I ordered. I called and said why are you basically stealing from my bank because you didn't give me the food but you took my money and they said wait a week for a refund. What! Why would you even charge me for food I didn't get. I have screenshots.
