Were closed up 20 minutes early. 3 people just standing inside talking and doing nothing. Was going to try this place for the first time, but since they can’t be open until the time they have listed and their staff is just hanging around when they could have been open, I will just go some where else.

We come here relatively regularly and it can be really hit or miss on the coffee and boba. Some of the baristas that have been there a while make really good stuff but some of the newer guys just aren’t as good ? and they seem to be who we keep getting lately. Everyone is always pretty nice tho. And it’s cozy when not under construction.

I enjoy their iced drinks and the atmosphere for the most part. However, in my experience 7/10 times the staff isn’t always the most friendly or approachable. You feel like you’re inconveniencing them just by ordering based on their expressions and body language, most times they won’t even greet you first. Another time 2 baristas were loudly arguing and it was uncomfortable to witness. I wish it felt more welcoming at times :(

This place needs to be deep cleaned. Customer service is amazing. Coffee is amazing but I have been here a total of three times and I have seen the same trash all three times. No sweeping no mopping. This place needs to be cleaned immediately.!!

Great little coffee/boba shop. Employees were super nice, and helpful. The espresso boba was amazing. Can't wait to go back and try new things.

The place did not seem clean. Construction equipment took up a lot of the space that use to be there. Customer service was horrible with the lack of a friendly greeting not engaging in conversation to dropping the completed order on the counter and walking away. Nothing warm or friendly about the customer service. On top of the poor customer service the coffee was cold. It was a regular medium size coffee that was cold. Certainly will not be returning or referring.

had the pleasure of visiting Fresh Bean Coffee Co., and it's truly a unique coffee shop. The commitment to freshly grinding their coffee beans sets them apart, resulting in a remarkable coffee experience. If you're a coffee enthusiast, this is a must-visit spot for a delightful cup of coffee.

This place has always exceeded my expectations of a coffee shop. There's no better place to go for freshly roasted coffee beans. You could literally touch the toaster it's right there in the lobby. The drink menu is one of the largest I have ever seen you could order something different each time you go in and never get bored! The espresso is delicious I love the blend they use. I could go about this coffee shop all day I love it!

Me and my family absolutely love and enjoy the infused teas with boba. Unfortunately, every time we come, we pay extra for exactly how we want our teas and have no problem paying extra but it is never how it was rung up. Either made with ice when we pay the extra $1 for no ice. We like extra boba and pay for it, also expecting two scoops, and only received one. Some of the staff is really great and we are pleased with our experience, but it’s not always that way. Parking seems to always be an issue, i understand there is limited in that parking lot, I’m just saying it does have a deter on when we come.

Being our first time at Fresh Bean Coffee, Natasha was very informative and helpful with our selection! The “Sweet Tiger” and “Okinawa” milk teas were delicious. We recommend this place for sure!

I’ve been to this location a few times recently and have had nothing but good experiences. Today though I experienced the opposite. As I walked up to the register a young girl rolled her eyes before asking me what I wanted. She was on facetime and also eating out a bag of chips. She cut me off after every word asking ‘Is that it?’ and ended up messing up my order. I left upset because I had such great experiences before :( I am also a barista and it was upsetting to see how unhappy she looked helping customers.

Given the name, I wasn't expecting Fresh Bean Coffee Co. to have boba, but I saw them offering the drink during the Made in Michigan Festival in Allen Park. After doing some more research, I saw that the owner was from Vietnam and also owned several drink shops there. That definitely had me intrigued and I decided to go to their main store location to try it out. Sweet Tiger Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, w/ Boba ($6.95) - This is prepared with more like a traditional Vietnamese Coffee vs. a normal milk tea. They have a premixed mixture of tea, condensed milk, and creamer, which they add additional sugar syrup to. Since the boba is soaked in brown sugar, that adds extra sweetness as well. As a result, even at 50% sweet, this drink was very sweet, probably similar to 100% at other shops. Because of the addition of condensed milk, the drink feels quite rich and decadent. Although to one detriment - all the sweet milky flavor completely covers up any semblance of tea taste. I actually ended up brewing some cheap black tea at home and added it to the drink. The drink isn't filled to the brim - they leave about a half inch gap to the top and the tiger stripes (made from carefully ladling the boba and brown sugar syrup) aren't nearly as well defined as what you would see from specialty boba shops. The boba itself is just okay - pretty hard and firm without a great chew. To be fair, this review is only for the boba - and it's not bad. It just didn't stand out to me all that much, other than the usage of condensed milk. I'm sure the coffee here is fantastic given the other reviews and I bet the Vietnamese coffee is solid.
