I ordered a shrimp tempura ramen. When I picked it up and drove home only to find out they didn't give me any shrimp tempura. They just gave me the noodles and broth

Food was ok sure but they package their food with the paper receipt inside their to-go containers for door dashers. If you spend $18+ on ramen you'd think you wouldn't have to eat receipt ink soaked into your food.

Servers were great but unfortunately thier ramen was awful the appetizers were ok but the chicken broth smelled funky right away I said nope and the chicken in it was like just plain boiled chicken that also smelled like it was old definitely should've sounded the alarm bell that it was an add on to hook and reel

The server was very nice and did a good job. However, the ramen was the worst I ever had. I got the kinya ramen with no edible gold. The broth tasted like straight oil and the pork was like rubber. My friend got the spicy ramen and it was not any better. The broth tasted artificial and his chicken was like rubber as well. It was a disappointing experience for us.

Was not expecting this place to be a part of the Hook and Reel restaurant. The Ramen was fair, I would rate it 5 of 10, 10 being the Best ever. The portions are Big, we couldn't finish our Bowl.
We Both chose Chicken for our ramen, but it was very dry and tough. Maybe precooked then added to the broth? Plus the boiled egg in the Ramen was ice cold in the middle?
It is a little strange sitting in a Seafood place having Ramen, but the restaurant overall was nice, clean, with 2 sections, 1 for Hook & Reel the other for Kinya. They just sat us on the H&R side. They are Both the Same room. Different Menus. Our service was good as well. Friendly Staff.
We prefer this location over the Taylor store. Always looking for a good Ramen.

I finally gave this restaurant a chance ! I ordered Buns for an appetizer and the spicy Ramen, both were absolutely delicious. I personally think Kinya is better than Johnny noodle king. I had Mari as a server, she provided great service, being my first time , she gave me some recommendations. If you're able to request her, I recommend you do.

Food was awesome! We've been looking for a good Ramen place downriver and this doesn't disappoint. We asked our server Mari for her opinion because this was our first time here and everything was delicious. 👍👍

I really enjoy the ramen and the service is always really nice. The only small negative is that the pork in the ramen is not tender, and can be really tough.
