Not a fan. The food was not good at all. It was fresh and clean, but expensive as well. I'm not sure why it's always so busy. Most of the customers were older, so they've probably always gone there. Parking is troublesome due to the busyness. I would not go back.

Not that good. I mean it's ok but there alot better places for more of an authentic Mexican food. Most things are bland and just eh.

One of my most favorite downriver spots. Fajitas are a must! Mexican sandwich, juanito burrito, and chicken corn hard tacos are right up there! Homemade chips and salsa too, so good

I’m so glad I spin the block to this restaurant. Chris my server was really nice! I only came to pick up my food and he was super kind to help me with the menu and gave me appetizers while I wait for my food to be done! If you go here, I recommend Chris.

Have not been here in a few years. I will never be back. Tacos are greasy! Rice well I don't know what that is white with a tomato in it????? Beans look very dry. Next time I know to skip this place and go to amigos on West road . Bye bye Mexican gardens! If they want real authentic Mexican food please try Taqueria Los Agaves in Taylor. I have family in southern California and this place is the closest I've found to true Mexican food like you find in southern California.

The Mexican Sandwich is FANTASTIC!Great food and service, but the dining room was a little crowded and the hostess stand was a bit disorganized, probably because it was very busy.Parking: A lot of spaces but it is a pretty busy place, so sometimes finding a CLOSE parking space can be challenging.

Love the food. Servers are good, but seem overwhelmed, and ours had to be asked twice for salt and pepper, which should have already been on the table. Not so thrilled with how loud the guests are. If you're at a table of 16, don't be rude and yell conversations from one end of the table to the other. That said, we'll keep going back, for now.Parking: Go early unless you don't mind standing outside with one of those beeper things.Kid-friendliness: Menu serves a few items, but I wouldn't take small children there - too much noise.Wheelchair accessibility: I use a wheelchair most of the time. I saw 2 people at a large, long table with wheelchairs. I would not have felt comfortable being wheeled in the tight space, but others might.

Haven’t been here in 20 years and I remember it use to be good, we had a party of seven, the food is not what it use to be, the rice is definitely not Mexican rice, corn tortillas are dry and chockie, I got steak fajitas they were just ok ( but note for owner if you serve Mexican food it should always come with lime) will not be returning

Our go to when it comes to Mexican food - always consistent and very accommodating for the kiddos. Serving staff is always incredibly friendly and the prices are reasonable.
