Only open for take-out despite having a dining room because the dining room apparently was serving as a supply room. We ordered anyway and decided to reluctantly eat in the car. Bad idea, because they overfilled both leaky entree containers so much that eating in the car was impossible. I ended up with my entree being literally in a bag of gravy. Food tastes okay, but nothing great, but never again without inside traditional dining area. The person who waited on us was rude and snarky too, which as much motivated me to savage New China Inn in this review as the plastic bag filled with gravy. There are just too many other Chinese restauarants in the Downriver area that use their dining rooms for, well, dining. Novel thought. Hard el passo on New China Inn.

Definitely would say this is the best chinese restaraunt to go to around the Wyandotte/Southgate area. This is ran by a very nice family along with they have the best portions and prices in town. This will be my number one go to for now on. ?

Every time I try to call, nobody picks up phone, we where very good customers, but no more.
As of 1-14-23 there’s a sign on the door that says “Closed until further notice. Sorry for the inconvenience”. I wish there were more details because I love this place.
