Roma Pizzeria & Restaurant

For some reason my family always gets this pizza for parties and it is just not good. The crust is super thick, sauce is way too sweet, and the cheese is always several inches from the edge and not cooked through (as evidenced by many pics on these reviews and in their own posts)

The other day we got a couple trays of fried chicken to go with their diabetes pizza and most of the chicken was undercooked, slimey, and nasty.

Im not from the area so im not sure if they're able to stay open due to a lack of pizza places in Southgate or because people have nostalgia going there, but it's definitely not because they're pushing out quality food.

Catering order. Family been ordering for years. 75 wings over cooked. Staff stated they were replace it with pizza because they didn’t have any more wings Want to pick Up the pizza. Front serving staff super rude, blonde girl argumentative stating she wanted all 75 wings back in the middle of an event. Chef said he would replace the pizzas extremely rude experience. Pictures of food. “Perfectly cooked” could break the wings apart.

Staff is very friendly and I love how good the food is too!

I have loved this place since the 90s. Some of the best pizzas and pasta around. I drive 40 mins from Belleville just to get my fix! Staff is always on point.

Went to Roma's...had the best Pizza...ordered a medium Roma special and it was huge...will be eating on it for a couple days...the service was awesome...definitely will go back real soon...

The service used to be really good when the old waitresses worked here but now it’s just continuous bad service. We always have to wait 30+ minutes to even place an order for our drinks. The current waitresses are super slow and forget half the stuff we always order. The food quality has gotten worse throughout the last couple months. It’s just disappointing. They always change the recipe of the wings and the breaded ones are just nasty

We used to frequent this place. The past few times we noticed a decline in service and quality. But sadly after tonight, we won't return. They used to have wonderful chicken parmesan (2 thick patties). Tonight, I was served a burnt thick chicken breast so tough I could barely cut it, let alone chew it. We watched others getting food, and I had to ask for our salads. Even though she wasn't a good waitress, at least she was of working age, unlike the 3 year old and her very young sister who were seating and serving. (I'm not kidding). The place is being run by kids.

Roma pizzeria it's not the same sense the original owner Vito pass it's not the same they got a lot of off clowns working there

I am a special education teacher in the Downriver area, and I brought my class to Roma’s for a community trip! The students were able to make their own pizza and enjoy it for their lunch! The staff was amazing and so helpful to the students! Come out and support Roma’s- awesome food and awesome people!

We recently came here with a large party for our daughter's birthday. Food and service was fantastic, no complaints. We've visited and ordered many many times over the past few decades and the owner is really putting in the work to make this place great!

love this place. grew up getting the jumbo pizzas every birthday. best pizza around.

My wife and I placed a delivery order and it never showed up. We called to ask about it and no one answered. They could of called and said we can't make your delivery. They told us 45 min. We waited an hour and fifteen and no call no show

Ordered a gluten free pizza and they gave my wife a regular small pizza. I have celiacs and I knew they gave the wrong pizza when I looked at it. My wife called and they gave us a hard time about it being or fault for not checking before she left.
