We were in the Southgate location and they started getting carry out business after we arrived. Carry out orders started going out the door and we were waiting and waiting and waiting more. Our waitress apologized a few times and finally our meal arrived and the food quality seemed like it was rushed and poor and not up to the usual standards. I said something on Facebook and they blocked me. I was excited when they reopened at that location but have not been back since. I am writing this as I sit in the Allen Park location which is farther from my house but worth it.

The ribs were delicious, our waitress was on point. The place was clean and lots of tvs for the sports person. Tons of bacon in the baked beans.

This had to be the worse corn beef sandwich I have ever eaten. Absolutely disgusting. The bun was old, no cheese and the corn beef was as dry as the Sahara desert. A waste of $40.
Open and bright atmosphere, ample TVs to track your team or sport, and incredibly friendly service. Food is always great!!

Ordered the 20oz ribeye, came stone cold raw with just enough of a sear on outside to make it look somewhat edible but it had that unhealthy grey color to it, once I cut it open it was ice cold and a deep red color. It was also completely devoid of any seasoning, not a speck of flavor to it. I forgot to take a picture before I threw the steak on the grill just to make it edible. I got it with a baked potato which had tin foil deep inside of it, the potato came in tin foil but was already cut in half from the restaurant. Side of rice was really good though I will say.
Barring this experience, most of my recent experiences of this place have been less than stellar. I keep trying new things from the menu hoping I will find something that tastes good but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Last time I tried the half pound burger, when I got it home it may as well have been a McDonalds kids meal hamburger with how small and non-filling it was.
If you want to eat from this restaurant I would strongly suggest making the trip to the Allen Park location instead. We've tried coming to this one since it is closer but it has never met the standard. I am left consistently disappointed in spending my money at this location.

This Wheat & Rye is the worst. After 3 visits expecting what their other locations provide, I've been continually disappointed.
This was a very big burger, however, the bun still dwarfed it SMH

So, this USED to be a four rating star from me, but, after today's visit, that had to change.
Today's visit was pretty "normal" for us; we sat at the bar, ordered two (four total) drinks, and split an appetizer. Glad we didn't ask for more, as it would have been a huge inconvenience for the bartender (not the wonderful reddish haired usual stellar bartender). There were three other patrons at the bar, and two or three tables being taken care of by a different server, so it wasn't a staffing issue. The bartender was literally too busy on her phone, or chatting up the server.
We felt like a total inconvenience, and waited forever, FOR EVERYTHING.
And, this is the second time that this has happened. I doubt we'll be back.
Food was just ok. The fries aren't big baskets anymore and they're the little skinny fries, not the good homemade ones they used to be. Reuben was just ok, nothing special.
