Atmosphere was awful thanks to the server lady with short hair… she was rude. She gave us dirty looks when we asked for a refill. She got our order wrong. And when we tried to explain to her that our order were wrong… she yelled to the guy in the back & says “HEY COME TALK TO YOUR PEOPLE IN YOUR LANGUAGE!” to which I said “your language?!” We speak English… ONLY ENGLISH I should add…. Never going back

Came in on a Saturday night and probably had the worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Our server who I believe is the owner now was not friendly and very rude. She took care of 8 other tables around us and when asked for a refill or something she would get an attitude. The food overall was ok. Not great. But this will be the last time I will ever be going. What they need is more help!

I am beyond disappointed with the management and cleanliness of this restaurant. Since the passing of the original owner, the quality has been in steady decline, and it’s heartbreaking to witness what was once a favorite spot fall apart.
The moment we walked in, we noticed dirty tables and sticky, grimy floors that clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. It set the tone immediately. Service was slow, careless, and unprofessional, with no sense of urgency or hospitality.
The most shocking part of our visit was what we saw inside one of the refrigerators: fish slime literally dripping into the salad mix. This isn’t just poor presentation—it’s a serious health concern. Food safety should never be optional, and seeing something so unsanitary made us lose all confidence in the kitchen and management.
What makes it even sadder is that we remember how great this restaurant used to be. Their previous server was incredible—attentive, kind, and professional. Now, that standard of care and pride in the business is completely gone.
It’s clear there is no proper oversight, no accountability, and no respect for customers’ health or experience. Unfortunately, this will be our last visit. We cannot support a place that has let things crumble to this extent.
I truly hope the management takes these issues seriously before more loyal customers are lost.

Came in on a Monday around 7 PM. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t the best. The staff member who helped me (a woman with short hair and glasses) didn’t come across as very welcoming. I ordered a California Crunch Roll, but it didn’t look fresh or well-prepared, just slapped together. Overall, the lack of communication and attention to quality really stood out. I hope the restaurant can work on their customer service, it definitely needs improvement. When it comes to the food, I can see why they have a no refund sign…must be a frequent issue.
I had to edit the post to add the picture. This is what I got. Looks just how it tasted…unappetizing. I’d definitely choose Kroger sushi over this any day!

Great restaurant, good food, and pretty good service. I rarely come in as its a little far compared to the cheaper local place I tend to go to. I prefer Sushi Q to the Local place I go to, The Sushi Bar. I judged a place on their fried rice and I won't say it's the very best but it's in my top 10... With O'Samurais gone, Sushi Q doesn't have any real competition. Sushi Q is way better then Black Pine Tree, Sushi Q is way better then The Sushi Bar, and it goes without saying but Sushi Q is way better than Ichiban but everyone is better then Ichiban.

First time trying sushi, it was my son's 16th birthday and begged me too. Wasn't bad at all. Coming from a skeptic, I'd eat it again. Great job!

It's possible to create your own style rolls, I love that about a place. No alcohol serverd here... yet. I have heard rumors they are trying to get licensed. Sake is a must with your sushi.
