Came in on a Monday around 7 PM. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t the best. The staff member who helped me (a woman with short hair and glasses) didn’t come across as very welcoming. I ordered a California Crunch Roll, but it didn’t look fresh or well-prepared, just slapped together. Overall, the lack of communication and attention to quality really stood out. I hope the restaurant can work on their customer service, it definitely needs improvement. When it comes to the food, I can see why they have a no refund sign…must be a frequent issue.
I had to edit the post to add the picture. This is what I got. Looks just how it tasted…unappetizing. I’d definitely choose Kroger sushi over this any day!

Great restaurant, good food, and pretty good service. I rarely come in as its a little far compared to the cheaper local place I tend to go to. I prefer Sushi Q to the Local place I go to, The Sushi Bar. I judged a place on their fried rice and I won't say it's the very best but it's in my top 10... With O'Samurais gone, Sushi Q doesn't have any real competition. Sushi Q is way better then Black Pine Tree, Sushi Q is way better then The Sushi Bar, and it goes without saying but Sushi Q is way better than Ichiban but everyone is better then Ichiban.

First time trying sushi, it was my son's 16th birthday and begged me too. Wasn't bad at all. Coming from a skeptic, I'd eat it again. Great job!

It's possible to create your own style rolls, I love that about a place. No alcohol serverd here... yet. I have heard rumors they are trying to get licensed. Sake is a must with your sushi.

I can assure you that Taylor cares deeply for each and every client (human and doggie) and she always strives to give the best service possible. Always best!
This review is just based on first impressions. We came here based on reviews. Upon entering, not sure if they were short staffed that day or time (Tuesday at 630 pm) but there was one workers the hostess who was doing it all, alone. Felt for her. However upon entering she initially ignored us but then directed us to sit towards the front. Not at a specific table. I chose a table closest to the bar for we had a toddler who needed a highchair, the tables are stacked closely together so this made the most sense for us…and the table closest to window had plates and cups so I didn’t want people fiddling around us or trying to get around us with dishes with a toddler in tow. however after sitting at this table for 5 mins (no water, utensils or menus) our party arrived and THEN we were told by the same hostess “I said sit over there.” So rudely and sharply the party was instantly put off. Then our party guest retrieved the highchair themselves but it was an actual fabric highchair that you would have in a private residence… it would’ve been fine if it wasn’t dirty. And again totally get it as a parent things are not pristine but it was just all the added additions. 10 mins in no menus, water, poor greeting. We decided this wasn’t working and needed to leave (again had a toddler who was hungry so we were kind of in a rush) but even upon getting up to leave..no one attempted to stop us, just my guest said to the hostess using the toddler as an excuse she basically said, bye….. not a good first impression or warm entrance which is a bummer.

Our favorite place for dinner. The kids beg for it if they go a couple weeks without, as do we all. The staff is always very welcoming and appreciative of our return and the food is amazing. Definitely say yes to both the salad and soup. I highly recommend the tea as well. The kids and I love the crab sticks as an appetizer before we chow down on sushi rolls. (2) rolls after salad and soup fills me up comfortably. My 10yr old eats about 1¼ rolls, while my 5yr old eats most of the sticks and about ½ a roll.
Head there for a date, family dinner, or even by yourself. Whatever you do, just make sure you leave at least 20% tip because I'm sure it's not easy providing such great service; especially for as many hours as those ladies work.

Me and wife have always loved Sushi Q since we moved into the area. We have even tried a few other places in the area not because we dislike this place, but to try new things but we always find our way back here because of their excellent food and pricing!

The sunset roll was delicious. They even subbed out the smoked salmon for me. The water had a weird taste to it, which made the tea, lemonade and soda all taste off so we just bought ramune instead. I think the cucumbers in my cucumber roll tasted weird, too- and I assumed it was because they washed it with the same water.
When I brought it to the waitresses' attention, she kind of blew it off.
