Disappointed! Our usual go to spot (best Thai food Downriver in our families opinion = Coastal Thai in Wyandotte) was closed and so was our second favourite (Jee’s Top 5 in Southgate). So we decided to give Thai place a shot, it was disgusting. We ordered a variety of meals and appetizers (same food we order at Coastal and Jee’s) to try since we’ve never had them and we couldn’t even eat more than a few bites of it all. All of the food had no taste, well only the taste of oil, no seasonings or anything but oil. It was a huge turn off. It was a nice try but definitely not worth coming back to when a few miles down the road is some delicious Thai food 1,000 times better than Thai Place. Also they put staples on everything to keep the boxes shut and bags, very dangerous as if you don’t notice or didn’t know they did this your staples will end up flying into the food. They staple right at the edge of the styrofoam container at the food, very dangerous, pieces of staple and styrofoam break off and fly into their food.

If you like Thai I highly recommend this place!!! I have been coming here for almost 10 years I drive 45 minutes to get to this restaurant even though I have one 2 BLOCKS from my house and another only 20 minutes away! I just got done eating my lunch from here TODAY! And as always the food is always perfect and the people very welcoming! I love spicy food the level of spice you order is what you get so if you cant handle heat may I suggest start small and work your way up to your desired spice level. My favorite is extra extra hot chicken pod thai.

Tried 14years ago this place was not good… Food still extra spicy HOT when you ask for mild or no spice! I've made the decision to never go back because the chicken tastes lab grown also. Overall this place just taste nasty compared to others I've tried.

I was a little worried with the reviews I saw. I usually go to another nearby Thai restaurant but they were closed. The chicken pad Thai from here is amazing big chunks of chicken doesn't taste boiled like some other Thai places. Very flavorful and very plentiful I could have got one dinner to split between myself and my wife. Will definitely be coming back!

I give this place a 0 out of 10 ! I ordered the shrimp fried rice . When I got home I noticed it was crab fried rice and my veggies were still frozen . I called back and spoke with the owner, she was so Rude and disrespectful and told me to never come back . I have been coming to this place for 5 years and I always order the same thing . I have never been treated as such from any establishment. I spoke to her kind and was willing to just order shrimp and keep what I had but I couldn't take the disrespect. So don't go it's another place that's way better called TOP 5 on fort . GO There not here

Allergic reaction! My fiancé and I ordered on Uber eats and when we got our food , it seemed fine until I tasted mine and had my fiancé taste it ,I didn’t tell him anything when he even said it tasted like shrimp ( it was chicken). I am allergic to shrimp so I called them to see if they could fix it for me, they asked I bring it back with me so I did. When I got there they lady working there took it back with her, about 5 minutes passed when she brought it back out and said “it’s chicken not shrimp” so I told her I know but it tasted like shrimp. She proceeded to say but it’s chicken and we cook it separately, then laughed and took it in the back again. Now there are 3 other people in the restaurant with me when she brought it back out to me AGAIN saying the same thing and laughing clearly not understanding that I have a allergy and can not eat it, I then told her if she can not remake it or if the cooks can’t make my food I payed for not taste like shrimp that I will be getting my money back she then takes it back and finally made a new one! Now to me this was absolutely HORRIBLE service! Two of the three people in this restaurant also had a shellfish allergy and I hope they did not have the same. I also hope the people who work here realize cross contamination of food can be very dangerous, for some people life threatening and is not something to be laughed at! DO BETTER!
