Great food. I mean it was really good. The server was way too bizzy. She probably was waiting on about 30 people. The place could use some cleaning and updating. Overall not too bad.
I said to my husband, let’s go somewhere different. Well we did, 45 minutes drive later we get to Springfield Tavern. The warm welcome was only the start, of an incredible experience. The staff were like old friends, from times gone by, asking if I needed to know where to ladies room was to asking if dinner was cooked correctly. I have ordered the chicken carbonara, and I swear this is the only place in Brisbane where the carbonara is not served looking like a soup. My husband...
Spend a wonderful morning with Family at the 11am Xmas lunch. Meal was excellent, great variety of food to choose from. A big shout out to the chief kitchen staff , bar staff and dinning room staff who made the whole Xmas day experience perfect. Santas visit for the little ones was fantastic.My granddaughter was amazed seeing Santa on Xmas day. Will be back again.
