While this place makes good Middle Eastern edibles, try going here earlier in the day- have done here close to closing, and while the owner himself is business like, there's a strange guy standing near/in front of counter who just stares at customers (very bizarre man!)- can't tell if he's a friend/colleague of owner, but he's bad IMHO for owners business. Just saying.

My experience at this delicate chessing has always been pleasurable. I have been going there for years, It is owner operated so you know you're getting the best service, The atmosphere is slightly old world. It is direct into the point. It is worth the drive for me to go there.

This place has been here for decades and I love it! The meat and spinach pies are the best.

This is the best Lebanese Deli in Southeastern Michigan! Even though it takes almost an hour to get there from home, we've been visiting him for over 25 years and love everything they make... especially the meat fatayer, raw kibbee nayyeh, and kousa! As for Sam... he has a heart of gold who loves his customers! Yes he throws around f' bombs, but it's all in jest. It's him! For those who are offended... it's like going to "Ed Debevic's in Chicago and getting your feelings hurt because the waitress was "rude" to you... when in fact it's all part of the experience!Thank you Sam for all you and your family have done to bring authentic Lebanese food to those of us lucky enough to have found you!

Been going there for 30 plus years. Fabulous meat and spinach pies, not to mention grape leaves. Everything is delicious!!! It worth my drive from Macomb Township.

I like to try different foods, was suggested to give this place a shot. WOW!!!! so delicious. I recommend starting everything so far. The Lamb meat pies are my favorite but others are also wonderful when I'm in a hurry.

I bought a bunch of food from Emily's for an open house I was hosting. (I am a real estate agent.) I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews on here, but I was short on time and Emily's is pretty close to where I live. I bought three kinds of meat pies, hummus, grape leaves, baklava, pita bread and pita chips. I was prepared to deal with a very crabby person and pay exorbitant prices. And I was prepared not to like the food, especially since I was married to a Lebanese man and I can make pretty good hummus and grape leaves. Emily's son now runs the place. He was not crabby to me; in fact, he was pleasant and helpful. And the food was delicious. I especially loved the chicken meat pies, but all of them were great. The guests at my open house loved the food as well and gobbled up most of all of it. And the best part? I paid under $100 for all that food! I thought the cost was reasonable. And, I was thrilled that they are open 7 days a week, especially now, when so many restaurants are closed for 3 or 4 days a week. I was also impressed that I could walk in and order a large quantity of food at 5:00 pm on a Saturday evening without any hassle. I will definitely be returning to Emily's.

Best meat pies on the Planet! Same size, quality as they were in the 70s. 52 years they haven't changed!
