What a lovely and beautifully decorated restaurant, on the water, in St. Clair Shores, MI. We loved the variety of meals available and each of them were wonderfully prepared! Also, Laura, the restaurant manager, made sure that our dining experience exceeded our utmost expectations! We will certainly come back again!
My visit to Hook on September 21 was a bit disappointing. The the restaurant looks really nice and the service was pretty good, The food was subpar. The breading on my steak from the Italian menu was dry and burnt. The meat under the breading did not have much flavor. The greens with the plate were a bit wilted and over-drenched with oil. I wanted to try a new spot for my birthday and saw hooks!
I did not get water or any service for about 30 minutes I believe no one told our waitress we were sat there.
Waited for another 45 minutes +for our food the boss walks up and goes here’s your food “sorry things happen” nothing els ….
I ignored that but we ate ,it was ok , then we asked for our bill…
We got our bill and gave our card.
