“Delicious meals every single darn time. HUGE amounts of food. Fresh ingredients. The bowls are filling and the dinners are great to share. Always a friendly service and if you have any questions, they’re great at helping. Happy Eid coming up soon!“
“Hubby and I had our first breakfast here last week and we will definitely be back! Food was great, everyone in the restaurant was welcoming and pleasant and didn't leave us waiting for even a second. The restaurant itself is very pretty on the inside also. I love the Flavored coffee creamer option. Also the Frank's red hot and hand sanitizer on each table! 10/10“
“My husband was telling me to try this place . He also told me they are a Christian family ! I must say he was correct and the food was fresh and very tender and they use a higher quality chicken . We definitely found a place to call hiE when it comes to Lebanese food ! You will have to see for yourself ! 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Teresa Luks“
“We were in from out of town visiting friends and decided to give Kabob Palace a try. We ordered one of their family meals for 4 and it was so much delicious food! There were delicious kabobs, chicken, shawarma (beef and chicken), as well as rice, and fabulous hummus and garlic sauce. We had such a a wonderful dinner and also leftovers for later. It allowed us to spend time together and not worry about cooking. Best of all, the service was fast and friendly. This is a fabulous place and you can tell they really cook with love! I hope to be back next time we come to town to visit!“
“I absolutely love their food. I am not a big salad person but their salad is to die for. The chicken is PERFECT. I loved all of it. If you are looking for delicious authentic food, I recommend going here.UPDATE: Just wanted to update after seeing a few of the reviews I was a little worried but decided to order again last night and it was still great. I got chicken and rice with a large hummus. I’ll post a picture of what I got this time.“
“Growing up part Lebanese and Syrian I was basically raised on this type of food, so I know what I like, and my expectations were high. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and our waitress Kylie was outstanding. For drinks I ordered a Manhattan, and my friend had a Spicey Margarita. Both were strong and delicious. For our Appetizers we had the Calamari which was super crispy and came with an amazing sliced tomato sauce. Of course I had to get a taste of everything so the Vegetarian Plate was an absolute must. It came with so many different food items and even just the presentation alone was gorgeous. My favorites were the fried Falafel which was super flavorful, crispy, but not dry at all like many can be from other places, the Baba Ghanouge was fantastic, and the Hummus which was so smooth and some of the best I’ve had. Hot bread was provided as well for dipping. Now if I’m completely honest, I did not care for the Veggie Grape Leaves or the Fattoush Salad. The salad seemed a little soggy and the flavors just kind of blended together, and the Grape Leaves had much too strong of a lemon/garlic type of taste that was way too overpowering. For our Entrees I decided on the Kibbeh Niyeh (raw lamb), which was very fresh and a large portion for the price. My friend decided to mix it up and try the Chicken Florentine. I wasn’t sure a predominantly Middle Eastern style restaurant could deliver on a dish like that, but not only was the portion huge, the flavor and quality is like one you’d find at a nice Italian restaurant. I was very surprised. For Dessert we of course had to try the Tiramisu. Each bite nearly had our eyes rolling to the back of our heads. It was light but flavorful, and each bite just melted in your mouth. If you’re in the mood for good Mediterranean, I highly recommend checking this place out!“
“The best middle eastern food anywhere in southeastern Michigan. It's even better than my family's authentic cooking (but don't tell them). Right when you walk in you're treated like family. All of their food is amazing. I especially love their eggplant boats, grape leaves, stuffed squash, mujadara, and platters. They have the best garlic sauce and amazing shawarma. Also Wednesday nights they have dinner specials that you can preorder that are a must try! I usually order one and have enough food for my 5 year old daughter and I to have dinner and leftovers. They offer lots of gluten free foods including preordered meat and spinach pies and are very knowledgeable about gluten free since their son is gluten free. I highly recommend checking them out! You'll thank me later!“
“This is a hidden gem!A friend recommended I try this place, and while the aesthetic is not "trendy" or cute by any means, the customer service and food absolutely blew me away. My date and I were treated like beloved family members visiting from out of town, and the food was authentic and delicious.Kid-friendliness: Good for the whole family.“
“Ammy, our waitress at LaSaj, truly elevated our dining experience. Her warmth and attentiveness made us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. Her menu recommendations were spot-on, showcasing her knowledge of the dishes. Thanks to Jeniffer’s exceptional service, our visit to LaSaj was not just a meal but a delightful culinary journey. We look forward to returning soon!“
“Grape leaves are on point just sucks you only get 6. I ordered the 3 shish combo and really appreciate how it was packaged. The hummus is perfect consistency. Customer service was great and the fresh baked bread is excellent. I will be definitely be “
“I recently ordered a family tray that fed 10-22 people and let me just say it was amazing! the quality and quantity was perfect. I was helped on deciding which family tray was going to be enough for my little event over the weekend and the staff was patient and kind with my question and concerns. The food was a 10/10 fresh and delicious. The meats were not dry and everything else was made to perfection. I have received many compliments on the food and I will definitely be coming back here for catering and even grabbing something to go!“
“Supberb Flavor overload Korshery red sauce like no other eaten. Rich red broth loaded with Sauteed Onions think French Onion Soup but way better OMG. WOWED Koshari (also spelled Koshary or Kushari) is the national dish of Egypt. It’s served in virtually every Egyptian restaurant, in every Egyptian home, and on every Egyptian street corner. Street vendors serve the dish from carts to people eagerly waiting in line to eat this beloved and highly popular dish. An unusual combination, Koshari mixes lentils, macaroni noodles and rice into a single dish and it’s then topped with a spicy tomato sauce that uses a special Middle Eastern spice blend, garbanzo beans, and fried onions. Open a dozen year's found on a rare visit to the East Side of Detroit. Easy to find border of Grosse Point n Detroit corner Moross n Mack. Also very unique Egyptian Falafel so moist and tender unlike the Lebanese version and a white Tahini Sauce for dipping. Two dishes I highly recommend plenty for a couple a order of Korshery and Falafel. She had a great combo of Chicken Tawook, Kafta n Shish Kebab along with Fatoush Salad n Lentils Soup. Shout out to Matthew our super waiter, he made us Hot Puffy Bread once we entered. A bowl of Toum n Egyptian Salsa placed on table before you order. A truly great restaurant with Egyptian owner and booze. #cleopatramediterraneangrill @cleopatramediterraneangrill #egyptianfood #koshari #egyptianfalafel #lentilssoup #fatoush #toum #motorcitymunchers“
“Sahara has been feeding my family and I since I was a child and consider them family. That said they are the hardest working in the restaurant business and that’s not a knock on anybody or any other business. Quality middle eastern food is simply the most time consuming and difficult to make and prepare. Please be respectful and courteous because what they offer, for the price they are offering is simply a blessing and an absolute treat. Thank you for the years of service and feeding my family and I. I can’t thank you enough. Big Blue out.Parking: Ample parking no matter the time of day.“
“I was looking to host an engagement party and this was the perfect place. Frank explained everything to my fiancé and I. He went above and beyond with everything. The Food, and that staff were amazing this is the place to be for any occasions you might have. We will highly recommend it to anyone.“
