Sweet and sour cabbage soup tasted like my mother's, and that's a good thing. Corned beef and pastrami were moist and flavorful, with a pickle that had to have been sent from heaven. Chocolate pie was also magnificent.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a year. Based on excellent reviews..
The portions are WAY smaller than pictured on their menu. (Yes I know they ‘recently got a new website’ however, it doesn’t load.)
The Reuben was NOTHING to write home about. And not worth the price.
If you want an awesome Reuben that’s cheaper (AND a whole one could serve 1 person four meals?) Go to Jimmy Dee’s. $15.

I’m so glad I found this place! I thought all the good jewish delis were further out in the suburbs but this is the real gem. Their matzo ball soup, tuna sandwich + pickle brought me home to family cooking. So so good.

I ordered at the counter to go and the food came out quickly. The staff are very sweet and efficient. The restaurant itself is super cute and quaint. I love the history all over the walls. The articles and family photos. What a great establishment,...
