The burgers, cheese curds and root beer were phenomenal...the wait for it all, was NOT. We literally waited 42mn before being served...and we were THE ONLY CAR THERE. They blamed it on training someone new, but they did little to apologize or compensate for this huge waste of time. Definitely not fast food or the place you want to stop when you're getting on the freeway for a 3 hour drive.
I used to really love coming to this A&W, but it has been on a steady decline over the last year or so. My last visit here was on 10/5/24. We sat inside since I had a trailer connected to my truck and couldn't pull into an outside dining spot. As we sat inside waiting on service, we watched 2 other tables get up and leave, making remarks about a long wait time. We sat for 10 minutes after pressing the bell to let them know we were ready to order. When I finally thought...
They are extremely friendly and understanding. Food is so tasty that it's become one of my favorite stops, especially for the fried mushrooms. Eating here is a whole new experience.
