“Off of 41 in Stephenson, we came upon an "Out in the middle of nowhere & a local favorite" restaurant. We were a bit put off because of the amount of vehicles there (a lot!), My wife went in to see how long the wait would be. She came out and said that the dining room was nearly empty. The Bar area was where most of the people were. Super Yooperized dining room!! The large paper (that came from a big roll on the wall) table covering was fun and a great idea. Crayons would've been a plus! There is a great selection of food and the prices were really nice, we even had dessert! Everything that we ordered was wonderful. Peggy, the owner, was also our server. The Veteran's discount was very generous, 20% I think. Overall, I highly recommend giving them a visit, you'll be quite satisfied.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of parking all around the building. A few kids came in with their parents to eat. The atmosphere was really chill, no crazy rowdiness happening.“

“Great food. Food was much better than expected. Prices are very fair. Service could be better, but it's hard to find help out here. Nowadays nobody wants to work. Daily specials are fantastic. Will visit everytime we're out here. Pizzas were great, Philly steak sandwich was super good, mashrooms and poppers really good too. Hats off to the chef.Parking: Seriously? “First time visiting the Heritage Inn and happy we did. My wife and I had the ribeyes, nice big steak, friends of ours had the prime rib, very large cuts and taking some home with them. Very friendly staff, Becky our waitress was outstanding, remembered everyone’s name, quick with what we needed!! Great variety in the menu, from appetizers, burgers, pizza and dinner items, we will be back!!“
