We’ve had a cabin in Cedar River for 12 years, and we couldn’t be happier that Chelsea became the owner of the Halfway Bar & Grill! She has taken such pride in upgrading both the food and the atmosphere—it truly shows. The Friday fish fry is a must-try, and the burgers… my goodness, yum! The chef is incredibly creative (you’ll understand after just one bite of the burgers). Be sure to check out the chalkboard specials on the weekend, and don’t miss the secret dinners...
The fried chicken sandwich here completely blew me away. I've had chicken sandwiches all over the country and this was the best fried chicken sandwich I've ever had. I had a side salad with the sandwich that was excellent as well. All the ingredients were very fresh, and the portions were large. $13.00 for this quality of a sandwich - no brainer
