“Gator Jake's is absolutely AMAZING!!! The staff is by far some of the best around. Erica and Shannon are the BEST bartenders they have!! The food is amazing. Weekly specials that the chef creates are fabulous!! The owners Dave and Lynn are over the top friendly and treat you like family. I am here 5 days a week because of how "at home" I feel. Thank you for having an amazing spot for me to stop at after work to unwind“

Let me tell you, some of the best I’ve had in a long time. I got the seafood platter. The catfish and shrimp were out of the world. But for me, the hush puppies. The best I’ve ever had. “I ordered a crab boil for the first time yesterday and I’m back here a day later ordering 2 more crab boil bags. Everything was so delicious, lol I couldn’t stop eating. “Finally! They was open when I went to the east side! I am one happy camper today! First things first I been trying to go here since like December but could not catch them open... so today! BABY! she was happy! What I had....Lemon pepper wings- amazing amazing amazing! They was so fresh when we got them. The hint of sour lemon was great! I'm thinking if I need to return later since they close at 8pm. Lol. 10.5/10Grits and jerk chicken- SPICY! and I loved it. Grits were a lil thick but mmmmmmmmmm.... 8/10Yams- thin and thick slices, sweet, and flavorful 10/10 from me!Mac-n- cheese - when I saw it....I questioned it... but after tasting it.... it was really good. Creamy and cheesy. Flavor was there 4 sure. 8/10It's black history month so u get a free small gumbo when u place a order. So go try it!Catfish- it was farm raised catfish. Nice and crispy. Seasons well. 9/10Greens- let me tell u! I'm not really a green eater unless they good. If I didn't order so much for I would have ate them all in one setting. Lol. “First time last night, January 28th. Our server Clarissa was attentive, and timely. She informed me of the 75 cent wings and I ordered a dozen before I sat down. Wings came out hot and perfectly cooked. There was no old, used oil taste at all. Perhaps best wings I've had in a long time. Wore ordered the Pinot Grigio and it was a solid wine. Crisp, clean and cold. I order a tequila which was delicious, but the pour was not generous. I actually ordered two differ in Reposados and both were excellent, if short pours. Their selections of liquor is quite impressive. I ordered the Surf and Turf feature. A small but tasty lobster tail, and an acceptable filet mignon. Only slightly overcooked. I had asked for MR but it was Medium. I consumed without complaint. We also had the Walleye, which was outstanding. Daughter had the Caeser Salad and she said it was great, and not overly dressed. Will certainly be back to check out their sandwich options and more drinks. Great job folks!“
“They have plenty of options to choose from. I got a boil bag and was able to try some seafood I've never had before. Our food was delicious, hot, and flavorful. If you like spicy, the fire hook and reel special sauce was very good. Will come back again.Dietary restrictions: I believe if you were to get a seafood boil bag with a garlic butter sauce, that would be gluten free. “It was a experience i think everyone should try.. you won't leave hungry or disappointed.. the food was cooked perfectly and was plentyful.
