The food was very good. I had the friend mushrooms for an appetizer. They were large and very filling and delicious. Reasonably priced. We also had the steak bites. They were tender and great flavor. Served with onions. The Long Island ice tea was amazing. Top shelf. Definitely worth it.
The food wasnt horrible but not on my favorites list. Staff was friendly and attentive and mostly why I give a 3. Building and inside were clean as well. Went for dinner and it was packed but no wait so a plus on that as well. I understand it's gotta bar and they had a band but it was soooo loud with people talking I couldn't hear across the table. Not a fan of the higher barstools but aesthetically the place was nice and had lots of TVs for sports fans. So imo dinner/dining...
I always enjoy eating at Johnny Black’s. I haven’t had a dish that I didn’t like, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, and I really enjoy the ambiance. My go-to order is always the steak bites. Definitely a place I keep coming back to!
