I always enjoy stopping at this place. This Old world Baker is the best. He always has a pleasant smile on his face and you can tell he enjoys cleaning every piece of bread that he puts in at Earth in the oven. Grew up in the middle east and cheese bread and zaatar breads at Maatouk are the only ones that fully satisfy the cravings. (I've tried a lot of different places in Metro Detroit)
4 star, could have been 5star if they bake the bread a little longer
1. Location is convenient. I don't have to drive to Dearborn for man'oushé (flat bread) if I am nearby for work.
2 Everything is fresh, bread is roll off from a machine at the back and then bake in the brick oven. They need to bake it a little longer because the back of the bread is sort of white.
3. Meat bread is not oily for some reason. more tomato flavor compare...
