I love this place. It has the best Polish foods around

The amount of salt in the pickle soup was over powering making the pickle & dill flavors almost in-noticeable. With Easter around the corner, employees were busy filling the shelves and helping customers find things but in doing so they were behaving in an unsafe manner. I had just finished paying, picked up my my bag and slammed backwards into an employee who tried to squeeze by behind me without saying anything. She apologized but it seriously hurt when it happened yesterday and my back still hurts today. Expanding into the unrented available store space at their Mound location would be beneficial in improving flow through the store as well as employee and customer safety.

Spoiled undated meats, and undated pierogis.First time customer that was super excited to check this place out. Was very pleased with their tea selection, many to choose from. Same with the pickled veggies and sweet snacks. But besides the random stuff we decided to buy and try, we mainly came here to get sausage and pierogis. We got a package of the ghost pepper smoked kielbasa and a few different kinds of frozen pierogis. We were very excited to make the sausage the next day for dinner, but upon opening it, a rancid sour smell came from the package and the meat was super sticky. I looked everywhere for a date, but none was to be found. So the meat went in the trash. Such a shame. Was very skeptical of trying the pierogis after that because they also had no dates on the packages. But they were fine, smelled normal and tasted okay. The potato bacon cheese ones just tasted like bland potatoes cooked in bacon grease. No bacon pieces that I could find and no cheese other than what I added myself. Overall, very dissapointing. I will still come for teas and random things but will never again trust their meats and would rather go elsewhere for pierogis. NOT DATING FOOD IS UNACCEPTABLE!!

Per the website, since I placed my order on Friday (12 Jan), it should have gone out Monday (15 Jan) for the $28.28 2-days delivery I paid for. Yet, it did not ship until 17 January and was not delivered until 23 Jan. Eleven days for 2-day delivery. I paid $58.26 total for 24 sub-par pierogi to take ten days to ship. Never again.

Faded glory. Srodek's used to make good kielbasa and pierogies but not any more. I've been a customer for decades, as were many in my family. I was disappointed last year, but out of tradition, I bought my usual kielbasa/pierogies again. Both were awful: the 'chunk' sausage wasn't chunk (it was finely ground) and tasted like wood. The pierogis were small and doughy - they stuck to the pan even though I used lots of butter. Next Christmas, I'll be looking for a different place to get my Polish food from.

Amazing selection of my favorite Polish Foods. The customer service is unlike anyplace else. This is so much closer and bigger than the Hamtramck Location that I use to go to as a kid.
