Tennerra Winery Winery • $$
44443 Phoenix Dr, Sterling Heights

“The Best urban winery I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Owners Joe and Nancy go the extra mile to make you feel like family, and educate you about all of their wonderful wines. I plan on visiting them often and can’t wait to try the wine slushees I’ve heard so much about....“

Filipo Marc Winery Winery • $$
39085 Garfield Rd, Clinton - 3.92 miles

“This place was absolutely amazing. They carry wines I never even thought of, from the sweet to a dry to a robust and how they pair with different foods. They have created such a variety, you will have a hard time choosing. I would definitely recommend the wine tasting to help you find your fan favorite.“

Unwined Winery Winery •

“Unwined has GREAT wine and even BETTER staff! The rotating menu of wines makes it a very easy spot to revisit. They have something for all tastes, including food! Small bites and snacks are perfect to pair with their wines. The highlight of Unwined is the events they host! The themed trivia nights they host are a blast and you can tell they put thought and time into making these events fantastic. We are frequent flyers and will continue to be!“

Schramm's Mead American • $$
914 Livernois St, Ferndale

“Bought my first bottle of Madeline a couple weeks ago and just finished it, I've been sipping it so I don't chug the bottle. This is definitely the best mead I've ever had and I would go as far as to say the best alcoholic beverage I've ever had. It's like they took the tears of a God and bottled them for us mere mortals to drink.“

Wine Flight with Charuterie Board
2013 Syrah

“In town for a long weekend and met some friends for an early evening, pre-dinner activity. We really enjoyed this Michigan-only wine tasting room experience! The establishment creates a nice hybrid space giving the ambiance of a retail store and a tasting experience. We were the only party in attendance for most of the time. Jen, the sole employee at the time, was helpful, attentive and personable. (Note: we arrived around 4 on a Thursday, so we didn't expect it to be busy.) There was a really broad range of available wines of many different varieties. Being from another state, I was impressed to find that Michigan had so many styles to offer, even Cabs and Pinot Noir most often associated with lower latitudes. We went with the flight options giving us 3, 3oz pours for the price of a nice, full glass of wine. At the time, our table really enjoyed the oaked Chardonnay and a Malbec. We took advantage of the $5 coupon that comes with the flight by purchasing a few bottles when we left. Snack options were available. We enjoyed a baguette with some goat cream cheese. Another item was our first choice, but they were out. We also enjoyed the cashews. If you are looking for a full meal, lunch or dinner, you can order in from DoorDash -- the sky is the limit!Overall, enjoyable experience to share with friends and loved one! Overall rating - 3.75. (Note: it's hard for me to go 4 or higher just because this is missing the winery "feel." That has nothing to do with this place, but more my preference.)“

St. Julian Winery & Distillery Tasting Room Winery • $
518 W 14 Mile Rd #4205, Troy

“The bar tender I had was great. It was only her second day and she already had a feel for wines I would or would not like. Great atmosphere. I am apart of the wine club. They don't feel like your typical winery but it's not a bad thing just different. I love St. Julian wines and would recommend.“
