I am 68 and was so excited to finally eat at Ivas Chicken. Sorry to say I will not be back. From the cold biscuits to the awful giblets that smelled so bad we had them take them off the table.we had a party of 3 an there was 2 orders for gizzards. Not knowing we would get gibblets ,as the waitress didn't tell us they didn't serve gizzard. When she brought the 2 order's, she says they put them in one bowl hope that's ok.watery gravy, dry chichen.Table next to us was complaining also of dry chicken. Very disappointed..

I was so sad about our experience here. First time eating there. Have heard it was great. Our chicken was dry. Our side dishes were barely warm. Bisqouts were cold. We had a party of 3. There was 2 separate orders of giblets which they brought to us on one plate then proceeded to tell us "hope you don't mind that". It took fifteen minutes after we were done eating, to serve our bill. Overall..sad to report, it was an awful experience for first time going there.

Chicken is great! I got the southern fried variety. Stay away from the scallops, they were prebattered frozen.

OMG, you have to try this place ... It's as close to mom's home cookin' as I've had in a long time!
Parking: OMG there are sides on the table to dip into and add to your plate, from hot green beans, Coleslaw, cottage cheese, warm homemade biscuits with jam or honey.... Mmm, mmm, mmm! This place is a treasure.... Every town should have an Ida's around!
