This is a favorite of ours! Beautiful grounds, great location between Traverse city and Suttons bay, a wonderful suite we stay in that is on the first floor. Also, it's just like home from the demeanor of the Inn Keeper to access to all areas including the library and pub, with plush leather seating and decor reminiscent of a classic fox hunting lodge. My husband and I stayed here for three night and were in the larger room above the kitchen. Everything was nice and comfortable. We had a complimentary bottle of wine, however, the label had a different couples name on it. There are chefs preparing breakfast in a commercial kitchen. This is where things were uneven.
