The wine tasting was very fun and the staff were helpful in recommending different wines depending on taste preference. The snowshoe hike was beautiful.

We had a fantastic time exploring!

I have been going to Black Star Farms for over 20 years. Yes my favorite Michigan winery! As a member of the BSF's wine club, I have stayed many times at the Inn also.
have some family friends that came to a wine club dinner about 8 years ago. They use to live in California, visited Napa Valley a lot. took them to 3 + other Winery's, they both said BSF's was the best!!! Good luck in the next 25 years!!

State of the Art tasting room. Restraunt, and miles of hiking trails too enjoy. Friendly staff, other location on Old Mission pennisula.

Had the most incredible wine/dinner pairing experience tonight! The food served was amazing and the wines were perfectly paired and did NOT disappoint. The service was flawless. We thoroughly enjoyed the introduction by the Hostess and Chef of the food and wine selections. Loved the beautiful property, atmosphere and conversations shared with the community dinning style tables. Overall this was a wonderful and deginately worthwhile experience. We would highly recommend Black Star Farms to anyone looking for a fine dinning experience. We certainly look forward to treating ourselves to more of their gourmet wine and dine evenings.

We should of been told you closed at 6 pm instead of seating us and then making us feel rushed to drink our wine in 15 minutes.

Just wasn't good. Food was very mediocre and tasteless. Server cared more about who from the crew was ordering and going to get their takeout than doing her job. Won't return to this one. It's too bad because it is a beautiful place.

My family and I love to come every year to do wine tasting, and I do love dry wine and my favorite there is Cabernet Franc.
How ever all the wines are so good. I was curious about the pear wine. I don’t drink much alcohol to be sincere, but this is a every year tradition and I appreciate the art of making wine in this wonderful place.

The atmosphere and scenery are unmatched anywhere in Northern Michigan. I wish I could spend more time here! Our interactions with everyone from the tasting room to the Bistro was so welcoming and inviting that we felt like we were long time friends. The smiles and laughter brought on by the fantastic staff and ofcourse, the wine are what we look forward to on our next visit.

This facility has a gorgeous, intimate event center with polite and friendly staff. It's the perfect place to host medium-sized parties or receptions, with a private covered patio with a fire ring located just outside the back of the building.

Had lunch at their Bistro. I had the mushroom and arugula pizza and my friend ordered the pizza margherita. Both were excellent with a glass of late harvest riesling.

Quite disappointed in the service. Food was presented nicely but no one in our party felt any of their entries were something to go back again for
