9/19/24 @3:30 P M had the worst meal we ever had there and will NEVER return . We left our number to call us back but they did not call us back . This has always been our go to place anytime we go to Traverse City area

Son had the perch basket- he loved it. My wife and I shared the French Dip, loaded… was delicious. We did upgrade to Onion Rings as they are AMAZING!!

Small place with great atmosphere. I had the French Dip and it was phenomenal, highly recommend. My spouse got the burger and it was not quite cooked to order but still tasty.

Worst service we have ever experienced! Never stuck around to order dinner after drinks and marginal appetizer. Service was too bad and it wasn’t busy. For lack of a better description, heavy set brunette server with a real bad attitude.

We were turned away on Sunday due to a staff shortage!

I always try to stop by here at least once every time I go camping up at the state park. Prices are reasonable and the food is really quite good. Parking can be kind of a pain in the height of summer, but oh well, can't do much about that.

Tried the wait list on their website and it said “there’s no wait, come on in”, so we did. We were told 10-15 minute wait. After people who came in after us were seated and 40 minutes have passed, we are told to sit at a two person table, which we did. We did not even get to look at a menu. The server came over, without menus and asked us to move to another table because they had a six top and needed to slide the table next to us to accommodate them. By that time I was fed up and just walked out. We had driven up from Cadillac for dinner. Will not make that mistake again.

Food was not worth the price, we paid cash and still had a surcharge added.
The burger was way over cooked, we didn’t make a big deal but the waitress saw my wife couldn’t eat it and they did take it off our bill. The perch sandwich was very good but only three extremely small, I mean really, really small fillets and I could only use the bottom bun or I would be eating a bread sandwich and at $20. Waitress was great but we wouldn’t go back.

Drinks have no alcohol or any in them tried to send back and waitress came back with same glass! No change in content! Said he put another shot but did not. Why not just fix it; instead of lying? Also the mushrooms are frozen; not fresh.

Great place. Great food. Great service. We eat here when we come to Sutton's Bay. Oh, the bloody Mary is great too. Great beer list.
