Service and atmosphere was great. We weren't impressed with the quality of food though. Our $20+ pizzas were soggy and falling apart. Our cheese and meat plate was small, considering it was $36. Drinks and dessert were ok. For a meal that was over $100 for two people, it didn't deliver.

We stopped in after playing a round of golf at Bahle Farms and it was perfect. It's a beautiful place, the food and wine were both great, and Brandon took great care of us. We even fed some goats on the farm after eating.

Wonderful place to enjoy the beautiful setting and fantastic food. Brandon was our server and he was so accommodating! Such a beautiful property and to enjoy a great meal with excellent service just tops it all off. Thank you for a great experience. Can’t wait to come back for pizza! Brunch was delicious

We went to the bistro for some wine and food. Got two pizzas and shared a wine. Wine was great, outside seating and service was excellent. It's a great place to come and relax. I do have to be critical of the food though. Pizzas are $20 or more and the ones we got were soggy and fell apart when trying to eat them. Everything else about this place says high end restaurant, but the food just isn't up to that standard. May have been an off day for the kitchen staff. Might try them one more time. Overall, pretty good, but they need to make their food worth the price.

Absolutely amazing food and atmosphere! We came here twice on a recent trip to the peninsula, once for dinner on Friday and brunch on Sunday. Both times were absolutely delicious and such clean food!!

Jaden was the best! The calabrese pizza and Niçoise salad were a perfect dinner for two! When a little hornet kept coming by for a visit the hostess offered to move us to a new table. Can’t wait to come by again!

Hands down the best stop in Leelanau County! This winery is absolutely breathtaking. The wine is delicious and the food at Bistro Polaris was phenomenal! Our server was very friendly and attentive and grew up right in Suttons Bay. The food, the service, and scenery are the reasons we will be making more trips to Suttons Bay!

We made 11am reservations for the Sunday brunch and left about 1:15. I'm not sure if service is always slow, or if yesterday was abnormal. The hostess and wait staff were wonderful. My husband had the baked mozzarella which was mostly tomato soup with a few pieces of mozzarella. I had the beet salad which they did really well. I was going to try the burrata, but by 11 they were already out of. For our entrees I had three smoked salmon with a poached egg, hollandaise, potatoes and another cream sauce. This was a very well prepared dish. My husband had the roast beef hash. This was a disaster of a dish. It was supposed to be smashed fingerling potatoes topped with freshly shaved roast beef. It ended up being the potatoes with dried shoe leather over the top. They put everything in miniature cast iron skillets and baked it after putting the roast beef on top. What was worse is the 3 course brunch was $35 per person, then most dishes were an additional premium price. I don't have any problem paying for good food, but the treatment of this roast beef was not worth premium. And dessert was terrible. My husband decided on the chocolate, cherry cookie which was nothing special. I went with the fruit crumble that was just hot, fruit soup. I never really found the crumble part. I expected better execution of a limited menu. If you want a good atmosphere it is a beautiful venue, but the food was not worth the price.

This place is a hidden gem! Absolutely amazing food, wonderful waitstaff and option to sit outside and enjoy the views.I only thought to take a photo of the salad after we devoured our appetizer, but the whole meal was wonderful. Thanks to the chef and waitstaff, we had great food and a fun time. Next review I’ll show more photos!!!
