One of our favorite spots on the Peninsula! We go both in the summer and sit on the patio and for Toast The Season in the fall. We sat out in an igloo in november ans it was great.
Great place and just 1.5 miles from our rental cottage fyi hiking trail is a great way as well, So many things to do at lake Leelanau Rentals, vacation on the lake, booking 2025 now.
I loved every minute of this place. Me and my friend each had flights of wine along with a very, very delicious charcuterie board. The Vineyard is a beautiful place to walk through. All in all, it was a very enjoyable and relaxing experience.
By far my favorite winery in the Traverse area. Delicious wine with a beautiful serene patio where you can enjoy a glass of wine in the sunshine and forget about the cares of the world
Staff is super friendly! Great place to drink 🍸 and have fun!
Can’t beat it. Beautiful and delicious.
The wine tour and tasting was so informative and highly recommend.
Fantastic time at Shady Lane Cellars on the tour to learn about the wines and the tasting. Very generous tasting amounts!

This was our first visit to the winery and we were very pleased with the quality of the wine. Beautiful location and outdoor seating.
Outstanding job by Barb.Very informative.
Signed up in advance for a tour; Barb could not have been better. Great time at a great place. Thank you!
Beautiful grounds, great wine. We came here with our 2 young kids, it was the best place to relax outside, taste wine have some of their light food options. The kids loved the hammocks, the open grass area and the vineyards. Right along the leelanau bike trail, too. Put this one on your list for sure.
The vineyard/tasting tour was AMAZING! My boyfriend and I had a 2 hour tour with Barb. She was fantastic at explaining the entire process from planting the fruit all the way to bottling. The white wines were phenomenal (we personally aren’t huge fans of reds in general) We absolutely recommend visiting them for your wine tours around the peninsula.
