Was a great experience. Sally provided us with top notch hospitality 👍
We went to the winery as part of a wine tour. Super friendly staff! So welcoming and knowledgeable. Also yummy wine and candles!
So went in during a wine tour. Got our free taste and our food then went to go to the bar to have more tastes and we’re asked to step away from the bar because that is only for selling/serving. We did not even get a chance to look at the menu when we wanted to pay for more tastings. Very frustrating to be asked to leave when we didn’t get a chance to look at the menu.
It was very busy but we got our drink and seats without issues or delays
Great environment
Great music and wine
Good wine and an awesome dinner. Very knowledgeable staff.
A favorite of ours. Beautiful place. Smaller pours.
Nice location. Awesome wines.
Wine was really good. The setting was very pleasant and the staff were kind and helpful.
The wine was lovely and their frozen wine slush option was great too. The staff members were our favorite for the helpful advice in planning the rest of our day checking out other wineries and beautiful spots in Leelanau County. Thank you for making our lovely day even better.
Stopped into Shady Lane during a recent trip to Traverse City, and wanted to try some of the wineries on the Leelanau Peninsula. This was our first stop and we loved it. The wines were very good, but the slushy was the winner for my wife and her friend. Really nice outdoor seating with multiple firepits and live music. Staff was very nice and even offered us a map and advice on other wineries to try while we were out and about in the region.

Beautiful vineyard with good wines. Nice atmosphere also.
Great atmosphere and service
Beautiful place, not entirely persuaded about the wine. But for sure the mood went down when the food appeared. This is not high quality fare, coming in paper cups??? pretty much what you find in many diners in the US. But the mood went even lower when it was time for the bill. For the same price I highly recommend going to La Becasse from 3 to 5 PM for their happy hour.
We spent the afternoon e-cycling between Sutton’s Bay and this winery. What a great stop on our way! We drank some really nice wines and enjoyed a lovely charcuterie board as well. A beautiful stop that we will certainly make again and again!
They welcomed our family. Great 3 flight! Get the CF Reserve. New Gpa experience! Thanks SLC!!!
