Willow Winery & Vineyard

If you'd like to visit a winery that knows a great Pinot Noir, this is a must stop in Northern Michigan. The Pinot Flight is worth it and the current ownership is dedicated to crafting a great wine experience. The 2021 is on par with the best Willamette or Russian River has to offer. It's a don't miss in my opinion.

My sister-in-law and I visited Willow Winery, what a pleasant visit! We really enjoyed talking with Rachel and Mason. We were visiting the area and I used to work for Harry with Lambda Energy. Was disappointed not to see Harry and meet Tracy, we wish them a very Happy Anniversary! We was very happy with our stay, the wine, the grape vines and the view of West Bay was beautiful! Very nice! Tracy is INCREDIBLE. Her heart is evident from her description of who originally planted the grapes 30+ years ago, to how they care-take for them now! Her warmth and kindness is easily seen in how she greets and interacts with each guest. I appreciates how Willow is her home away from home and the passion she feels for this place is in every wine description she provides.

Stunning views, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to share the stories behind the wines and greeted at the door. Each pour felt personal. Very welcoming atmosphere! Will be happy to come back and prioritize this winery! Quiet, intimate experience that delivers quality

I fell in love with this winery about 10 years ago when my daughter and I visited. Last year I stopped with a friend for her birthday and fell in love again . The hospitality of the new owners is amazing. The new owners have breathed new life into this place. I am so impressed with their hospitality. Tracy signed the last of the Willows Road trip wine for us.

The owner ruined our experience at Willow winery. She was extremely passive aggressive to us, other customers, and her staff.

We made a reservation over a month in advance knowing we were visiting at a busy time of year. Upon arrival, she suggested we order bottles of wine. My group had a variety of wine preferences, so we opted to order glasses and flights instead. Upon hearing we were not taking her recommendation, the owner spoke to us in a rude manner stating we should take her suggestion since they don’t have enough clean glasses (for 5 people drinking) and it would take too long for them to serve us. Why offer flights and glasses of wine on the menu if you’re going to get mad when customers order it????

Next, we overheard the owner kicking other customers out of the facility. They were finishing up their wine and she told them they needed to leave so she can seat new people. Her tone was extremely rude! After the group left, nobody else sat down for the next hour so she kicked them out for no reason!

We asked the server for recommendations and the owner butted in, not letting the server answer. We had intentionally asked the server for a reason, not her!

Lastly, we had finished our wine and had been waiting around for a staff member to request the check. We had been waiting for around 10 minutes, and had only been seated for about an hour. When the owner finally came back around, she immediately told us we need to pay and leave so she could seat another group. Her tone and words felt ridiculous! We were already planning to head out and had only been seated for an hour!

Overall, the patio was beautiful but the owner was AWFUL and ruined our experience. Would not recommend this winery to anybody. There are tons of other options on the peninsula that offer much better service.

The most fantastic winery in TC, Tracey and her husband Harry the owners were an absolute delight! We even had some car troubles and they were super kind in trying to help us out and let us stay even after close. Could have not had a better experience here. Come here for the great atmosphere, the most amazing staff ever and the most beautiful view
