The service was outstanding and the wine exceptional. Disappointed In the serving size and presentation of the of the white fish. The food was off to the side of the plate with accompaniments and half the plate was bare. Understand the small portions, but fish should be a little heartier. And we celebrated a birthday and the birthday guest was presented with a candle in a jar of coffee beans. Just weird. A small chocolate would have been a much nicer acknowledgment.
We just returned home from a nice trip to the Leelanau Peninsula and are so happy we celebrated our last night at Wren! The food and service was top notch. Everything felt high end but without any pretension, which is just our style. We opted for the pre-fixed tasting menu and enjoyed every bite!
