Today was the first time I stopped at Buckhorn. I just picked up a to go order but we are definitely going back. Our lunch was wonderful best hamburgers we have had in awhile. Would definitely recommend!

Been here twice in a month. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Wife had the meatloaf once and a olive burger once. Both times, I had the bacon cheeseburger and fries. All excellent. Prices are very good, food is great. What more can you ask for?

I heard that this re-opened after more than two years, and wanted to give it a try. I went in for a late lunch on Friday afternoon. The special was fried cod. When served one of the three pieces was undercooked, leaving somewhat raw batter. All the pieces were very greasy and soggy with oil, suggesting the oil used in frying was not hot enough. I had it served with a baked potato. It also was underdone. A baked potato should be 205°-212°. Lesson to the cook - check the oil temperature before frying, and the temperature of other items served to be sure they are done. Get a Thermopen or other fast registering food thermometer, and know the temperatures of different foods when done.

This place is not good for a group over 2-3...even when told a day in advance. Food is good...when you can get it served hot. Service was with an attitude...by the owner. Won't be going back anytime soon.
If I could give this place and the owner Mary 100 stars I would. The food is AWESOME SAUCE the service is out of this world.

Saturday, July 17, 2021: My wife and I went out of my way to go there for lunch, but there was only one vehicle and the signs on the window and door said to call for pickup. It appears they are not open - certainly not indoors anyway. Then tried to call to find out what was going on, but no-one answered the phone. Their posted hours said they were open Tuesday thru Saturday from 11-7, but that is clearly not true. Don't think we will bother trying again.
