Was disappointed when i asked for extra cilantro and barely had any cilantro,when i asked for extra again the waitress looked at them like i was weird and came back with a tiny black cup with a few pieces more 😂 so if ya love cilantro they are stingy with it for some reason but man they were the best and the cilantro lime ranch was amazing!”

“The Bleu Moose Bakery cafe is a must stop for Tawas! Delicious pastries and more. Everything we tried was delicious! We had a triple crème brownie, crack cookie, raspberry cream cheese danish, quiche, ham and swiss croissant, baklava, and a bakers choice can’t remember the exact name but basically oatmeal cookie with butter crème on the inside. Don’t judge 🤣🤣 We will definitely be back 🤤🥰 The entire bakery was painted by the owner and the owner was in there serving us herself. Loved the homey feel of the bakery. You just can’t beat it. Make the stop you will not regret it!”

“We went in an hour and a half before closing with a party of 13, (we were vacationing in Tawas for Christmas). The staff were awesome they put together tables to accommodate our big family. The food was excellent. Highly recommend the pizza, burgers fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings and chicken trips. We left happy and full. Great experience altogether. Will be returning for another meal. Side note they do serve alcohol.”

“I still gave 4 stars, because I’d like to think this is an isolated incident (and I’m really not a Karen lol). But this is unacceptable: They ran out of dome lids (I’m assuming based on the soda lid that was used) for frappe so you short the customer?? Do we need to brush up on good customer service? You don’t short the customer because you ran out of supplies. I get it, things happen (hence the decent review in spite of it). Let’s remember we are all out here struggling. And coffee might be a luxury, but so much MORE of a splurge these days with the prices. Thank you! Have a wonderful day”

“Alexis, the manager, went out of her way to help me and my husband and even literally REPLACED an order when a DoorDasher messed up my order intentionally. This girl is truly a girls girl and awesome, she genuinely deserves a raise. She's been amazing every single time she's taken orders for us, even if I gave attitude in the past, she keeps it professional. Will go again simply because of her. 🖤”

“If there is an olive burger on the menu, my husband is going to try it. Me? It’s not something I seek out. Until now. The olive smash burger at Route 23 is amazing!! The olive topping is the best my husband says he has ever had and I have to agree. It’s not your typical mayonnaise based sauce, but rather a thick sour cream and cream cheese olive spread that adds the perfect creaminess. The burger overall is so well balanced in flavor. I think we have found our new favorite (which is not easy because all of the food we’ve ever tried has been fantastic!)”

“New for East Tawas. Hiring local staff that carries forward the friendly and professional courtesy of our town. On Starbucks Red Cup Day, they had an entire box still available around noon (you couldn't purchase any online through the National site any longer). Place is roomy, has a double insulated door entrance with a 90 degree turn to keep the cold weather out and also a convenient drive thru, if you don't want to get out of your vehicle. They also have 3 10 minute parking spots right in front, if you pre-order on the app and want to just pop in and grab your order. All pick-ups are near the entrance and categorized by order name given, so simple!”

“all these fancy restaurants around and every single one of them were rude and very disrespectful and were not afraid to treat someone with absolute disrespect. but there was one gentleman here that was absolutely delightful and was so very nice and my wife and i made sure he knew that he was very nice and we were very thankful for his kindness and his generosity. thank you”
