The Bleu Moose Bakery cafe is a must stop for Tawas! Delicious pastries and more. Everything we tried was delicious! We had a triple crème brownie, crack cookie, raspberry cream cheese danish, quiche, ham and swiss croissant, baklava, and a bakers choice can’t remember the exact name but basically oatmeal cookie with butter crème on the inside. The entire bakery was painted by the owner, who was serving customers. Loved the homey feel. Great people and magnificent bites, both sweet and savory, are incredible. The attention to detail, flavor combinations, and well-executed techniques add up to amazing eats. It is a local treasure with fresh baked goods like breads, assorted sweets, and seasonal savory meals. The French Batard, sour dough bread, and cinnamon swirl loaf are regulars. The Mexican chocolate biscotti is wonderful. The soups are a treat, with two new soups to try each week. Fresh baked with love and lots of it, this place provides an atmosphere of love and heartfelt community.
