We went in an hour and a half before closing with a party of 13, (we were vacationing in Tawas for Christmas). The staff were awesome they put together tables to accommodate our big family. The food was excellent. Highly recommend the pizza, burgers fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings and chicken trips. We left happy and full. Great experience altogether. Will be returning for another meal. Side note they do serve alcohol.

This place is a hidden Gem right along Highway M 23. Great service, and had that home cooked food. Everything was great the service and food. The food came out in a timely order and presented perfectly. The owners should be lucky to have Linda as this woman didn’t drop a beat. She literally didn’t stop moving the entire time we dined in. To you, Linda, keep doing you! We will definitely be back , when we are in the area. 😁

The LODGE is the perfect restaurant if you are visiting the Tawas area. I have consistently had great meals there regardless of whether it was Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner. Additionally, the wait staff has always been prompt and courteous. Thank you to Julie, Brie and Mariah for always delivering great food and service, I really appreciate it.
Food is always good. Wait staff hustle because they always seem shorthanded. They do a good job. Popular pizza carryout place and good Friday fish specials after 3:00.

Nice people, more of a bar type atmosphere than a restaurant. The food was pretty good and the service was quick and friendly. We tried to go back on labor day but they're closed on mondays and they made no exceptions for the holiday. Several people were pulling in as we sat there trying to figure out where we'd go from there. I think they'd be very busy today if they were open because we just had to wait in line to get into the next restaurant. It's rare that I give 5 stars so don't count my rating against them, I was looking forward to going back.

Worse service walked in sat down maybe 4 tables in the whole place 2 servers very dead waited about 10 mins nothing servers look at at us but said nothing not even a smile . Then a table of tree walk in sat down a wow server was right there to take their drink order as we sat there waiting. That was it good by worst service and I managed Dennys for 30 + years . Don’t waste your time or money.
