Stopped here for dinner last night after finding out the Southgate location closed. Even if the food here wasn't awesome (which is was!) I would still give this place 5 stars because of the personality of the girl at the register alone. She was friendly, patient, made conversation, asked questions to clarify what I wanted to order and had an all around awesome attitude- the exact kind of person that SHOULD be on the front line interacting with people. Aside from that, the food was excellent, my order was spot on and the time it took to make my order was faster than I had expected. Can't say enough good about this place.

Stopped by A&W today and got the double bacon burger, and it was amazing! The presentation was really nice and everything looked fresh and made with care. The patties were juicy and flavorful, the bacon was perfectly, and the cheese melted just right over the top, which was the best. The bun was crispy on the bottom and soft on the top, which made every bite perfect. You could really tell it was made with care. My wife got a burger too and she was just as happy, we both left full and smiling. It honestly made our day. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

The employee was very nice. The manager is kind of different, not as friendly as the employee. The food is super great here. Lots of options to choose from at decent prices. If you're dining in, I would recommend asking them to wipe down the tables before you eat at them because they're a little dirty. Very quiet inside and lots of tables open.

Note from 2022, For many decades this my favorite A&W location with a large retro dining room. Was closed for about a year until they found a new owner, so Happy. Sad they discontinued the phones at each booth that connects to Counter for placing your orders. No outside drive up order boards or canopy to park under, they come to your car with tablet waitress take order. Just go inside and have a seat, waitress come to table or line up at counter inside. This place really busy around lunch time. Yeah we had a coupon sheet, they let you use all you want. Got 2 Bacon Cheeseburger only 6 bucks good deal. She had really delicious Chicken Tender combo with Fries n Rootbeer. We added a Xtra order Tenders n Deep Fried Mushrooms absolutely fantastic. The mind blowing instant Addiction Sriracha Cheese Curds perfect Spicy I kicked up with A&W Spicy Sauce WOWED. A must try best ever eaten Cheese Curds for the Win. I stretched a couple Curds and placed on Burgers for another OMG. So Happy got a location near my house to pickup more Spicy Cheese Curds. Yes support these local Ma n Pa owned franchise locations so we have them around another 100 year's. This place is great! Me and my wife come here over any other A&W in the area. Food is always made fresh, and order is always exactly as ordered. Love the nostalgic look inside! If you want good A&W food that is hot and made to order this is the place!
