It's crazy how fast/accurate/good the service is here no matter how busy it is. Have been here many times and the ladies working the bar and seating area absolutely run circles around just about any place I've ever eaten. I recently moved to Downriver from Ypsi (where there's a far better selection of good food places to pick from, sorry Downriver, its the truth), but Bierkeller puts Ann Arbor/Ypsi to SHAME when it comes to the service. Great work.

Interesting and unique menu items.But my food was a little bit on the cold side when I received it. It's definitely worth giving a second chance. Maybe it was just an off night.

The food and service were great. Blackened salmon sliders were amazing. Awesome combination of flavors. Highly recommended. Didn't know it was Tuesday trivia night. But it was done very well and wasn't too loud or obnoxious if you weren't participating.
Update: tried shrimp tacos...delish!

Food was cold. Our starter we ordered right when we sat down came after the rest of our food. Fries came late as hell. Had potential to be really good and hopes were high for me and my girlfriends date night. Left wishing we went some place else. Sadly the best part of this restaurant was atmosphere.

The best brunch I’ve ever had. Went here with my husband for the first time and we now know where we will be every Sunday! Megan our waitress was amazing! The best dining experience by far I’ve ever had. Highly recommend for everyone to try this place!

I like Bierhaven a lot, the food and service are always great, but this is just a buyer’s beware that they recently increased their prices and I guess haven’t fully updated all the menus to reflect that change yet, so our bill ended up being a lot higher than expected. I pointed this out and the server did discount one item, but their online menu doesn’t reflect their current pricing at all and they were unable to honor the online menu which was a bummer. The cheesecake was advertised on site as a special for $6, actual pricing is $8, and it’s only like a bite of cheesecake not an actual piece of cheesecake (mini truly means mini in this case) so just be aware of that as well because we were truly surprised at the size for that price.

This place has great food, a very friendly staff, and a really cool German tavern atmosphere. The beer of the month right now is Spaten Octoberfest, and it's the best Octoberfest beer I've ever had.

First time there a couple weeks ago been there three times since. My dad and I celebrated his 96th Birthday on September 10th 2024 and have been back three times since. Everything was perfect. We had burgers and a beer. I'm not a big meat person but your burgers were delicious. The bartender greeted us immediately and was very personable and very efficient. The whole staff ran that bar like a fine tuned machine. I have worked in the food and beverage industry my whole life and I can say I was very impressed. Great job Bierkeller Tavern we will see you soon. Much appreciated ?
