Not sure what happened here. Food on the wall and seats. Big red tape on the seats. Food dry not up to the old big boy quality or atmosphere. Service was good though. Sad will never go back.

Big Boy in Taylor, Mi. Food was decent, service was decent, but the place is filthy. Food splashes on the walls of the booths. Table top had salt and food on it. Had same experience a few months ago, thought I'd give it another try. No more, won't be back.

Food all had a bitter taste turned back my order. wifes ranch dressing was sour had a rotten smell and they gave us a sandwich container for soup. Both wife and I ended up getting sick shortly after eating there

The breakfast bar is always fresh and delicious and most often anything you get to eat there is delicious! I LOVE the waitresses, they are so personable and charismatic! I always have great food and staff when I go there and that always makes for a great time!

I’ve been to the Big Boy in Taylor on Telegraph three times during their Holiday Special with the 1990s throwback prices, and each visit was very different.

The first time, I went with a friend. Unfortunately, I slipped and fell on ice in the handicap parking spot. Thankfully, I was okay—just sore from tensing up—but I did notify staff immediately. When we left, the area was still very slippery, and I didn’t notice salt being put down, which was concerning.

The second visit was with my mom. After placing our order, we waited about 45 minutes to be served. During that time, multiple families (a family of five, six, and four) came in after us and received their food before we did. We spoke up about it, and management did address the issue by giving us two coupons for free Big Boy sandwiches only and dessert, which I appreciated.

The third visit was much better. I went with my children and used the free Big Boy sandwich coupons. We also ordered mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and a Slim Jim meal with fries. Everything tasted good, and our total came to just $19.05 for a family of three, which is hard to beat. We all left full and satisfied.

One thing I did notice was that our waitress appeared to have a constant runny nose throughout the night, which was a bit uncomfortable to observe, though service itself was fine.

Overall, the food can be good and affordable, especially with the specials, but consistency with service, wait times, and safety outside definitely needs improvement. I’m hoping future visits continue to improve—because when it’s good, it really is a great value.

Arrived at 12 noon and waited 10 minutes for our waitress to take our order than another 45 minutes for our food to arrive. approximately 5 other tables taken care off before us, even though we arrived first. Was about to walk out when order came. Very slow, will NOT be returning there!!

I'm a GrubHub driver and stopped in for an order to see the waiters swamped. I also observed the manager or owner start a game of bingo instead of helping the staff. As someone who worked in the resturant industry this was disgusting to see. I wish I could give a better service review for the people who were actually working because they were sprinting around the store. Management needs to step up or get removed. (My recommendation would be the latter because bingo is more important I guess)

I feel really bad for the employees here at the taylor big boys. The restaurant is so understaffed, the workers are clearly stressed and stretched thin. It was really unsanitary, unorganized, and unwelcoming. But I do not blame the staff, they can only do so much. The owners should be ashamed of themselves. When there's not enough employees, it should be CARRY-OUT ONLY! Quit exploiting people who are willing to work! No wonder these restaurants are closing left and right if these are the corporate business standards.

The food was good aside of that everything else was trash. We were there this past Sunday and they only had 1 cook, 1 server, and a bus person working. The server came and threw our menus on the table. Then she proceeded to yell across the restaurant to her coworker that just came in from outside how mad it would make her if it was another customer. At that time only 2 other tables were being occupied by guest. I asked for ranch and Italian dressing she brought ranch and thousand island with dressing all over the containers. The cook plates food with no gloves on between playing on his phone. We will not return in the future. That place was disgusting.
