Clam Chowder is absolutely amazing! Lots of real clam meat - it's hearty enough to be a meal. Clearly made with real cream and not the gritty stuff you get in a "coney" place (don't get me wrong, I eat that too, with pleasure!). Lakes venue is beautiful and when it's nice out I love to sit outside when I take my lunch there. Also, check out their Maurice salad; the dressing is on point and they don't charge an arm and a leg. I've only seen a few places make this and it's usually overpriced. These are my two go to items.

I ordered the steak and it was mostly bone and gristle$20.,. The 1/2 salad $8., was very small and nothing special. The expensive Nachos was ordered without the included meat(vegetarian ordered it) asked for xtra cheese substitution and small order of chips with extremely scarce cheese and barely anything else on it. Now I know why the place was practically empty on a beautiful afternoon. The service was okay and view of course was nice.

Went here for a grad party and I was very impressed. Food was good, and the atmosphere was very enjoyable on the outdoor patio. I see this place often but never really thought to stop in.

This place has went way down in quality of food and the service is horrible. The last two times I was there it was empty yet the waitress and the bartender were busy talking and didn't bother to stop. Took forever to get the food and the waitress was inattentive the entire time.

Don't order the nachos. There is literally just a little shredded cheese melted on them. They dry and are horrible and not close to worth 14.00.....they no longer have a salad with the steak dinner and raised the price to 20.00 for a steak, potato and bread stick.... Loud arguing drunks at the bar. We won't be

so if you work for the city and give this place a glowing review, do you receive brownie points. I ate there last Thanksgiving, worst food ever. Way too expensive for the food and how it was cooked. the best food was the cranberry sauce

The price was $39. Only two seatings first at 12:30next at 1:30. Way too early for a Thanksgiving dinner. They advertised having a “new chef. Sweet potatoes were bland. Dressing had no seasoning and they mixed brown bread with white. Really bad. The only items that was good was the cranberry sauce and the rolls. I chose what I thought was pecan pie but what was really pecans on top of a coconut filling. Really bad. When the manager came by and asked how everything was, she obviously did not like my comments. But if you asked “how was everything” wouldn’t you want to know.

Went here for the first time, on a Friday evening. To our surprise, the place was fairly empty. Drinks are basic, no ginger beer here, if you're wanting a mule. If beer is your thing, get something in a bottle, as the draft is flat. Food was fairly priced, actually better prices on a burger here than at a couple other bars in the area. But, we didn't try a burger on this visit. I was disappointed in the fish taco's, but that is somewhat my fault for assuming it was going to have some Southwest flare/seasoning. It literally was just battered cod, fried and placed in a flour tortilla. My husbands "Michigan perch" meal was cooked with skin on. We determined it was most likely ocean perch, but his meal did come with enough tater tots for 4 people. We plan to go back to try a burger before we say never again.

The Taylor today magazine had cinco de mayo specials . My friends decided to go for the specials. I was the first to arrive and the manager said there was no dollar tacos. Due to limited staffing. So my friends and I will not be going to the restaurant again.

First visit, unfortunately disappointing. Was hoping for a new hidden gem. Where to start? The draft beer was old. Really old. I've drank Labatt Blue for 35 years, this was flat and sour. 1 star.Ordered Michigan perch? Having fished my entire life in Michigan I'm going to say this was Ocean Perch, not Yellow Perch. And I have never had deep fried fish served skin on with the dark meat still on. That tells me this was farm fish also. These filets , although not very meaty as it was, were meant for the frying pan, not the deep fryer. 1 star.Tator tots... Odd flavor. Old grease? Onion powder? There sure were a lot of them though. Plate was piled with tots. 3 stars.Service is 5 stars. The staff is excellent and friendly. Pricing for 2022 is 5 stars. The facilities were right up there too.If we ever decide to try it again, maybe just a burger and bottled beer.

Went there after golf. The food was great, beer was cold, and the view is great on the second level. Sat outside and watched the sunset. Will be back!

Ate with a large group for the Easter brunch. Was seated quickly, service was great, atmosphere and view of the golf course were wonderful. Food was very good, liked the mashed potatoes best. Our group will be back!
