Nice course. Can be very tough with windy day. Has a little of everything. Rolling, open, tree lined, wetlands. Plenty of tees to choose from. Can get pricey on weekends and holidays even in early spring and fall. Lower prices for Taylor residents. Need a tee time and call or make on line early because it fills up fast. Has driving range. Bar has good food and drinks. Good pro shop.

Hands down, the best public golf course layout wise in all of downriver. The pro shop is great, practice facility is good and the course is always in the best shape. This is a pure championship golf course that is a great course to put your game to the test. Food and drinks are great. This course would get 5 stars but they probably have the worst pace of play of all downriver courses(even worse than Riverview). I had a situation on my birthday last year where the group in front of me was 5 holes behind and they did nothing to this group, making everyone else suffer and have a terrible experience. Lakes of Taylor should be a 5/5 if it wasn’t for their pace of play.

Played behind multiple 5-somes making for a brutally slow round, starter snapped at us to tee off earlier than our tee time while we were still warming up so we didn't hold up his buddies who were ready to tee off early (we heard them talking about it). Only getting two stars rather than one because the course design is decent. Conditions were just average even for the fall.

Challenging course (at least for me); water on a lot of holes and plenty of uneven lies if you are off the fairways due to the mounding. ?

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Lakes of Taylor Golf Club on June 24, 2023. We were thrilled with how friendly and accommodating all of the staff was during our wedding day. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how the food was delicious and how they loved talking to our bartenders. The venue also accommodated some of our guest's dietary restrictions and our bar menu.We planned our event with Debbie. She was helpful and organized. She couldn't make it on our special day, so Nancy filled in during our rehearsal and wedding day. Nancy was also very helpful, accommodating, and kind. The ceremony space was beautiful! It included an arch with white flowers and greenery draped over it.Our only complaint was how hot the reception hall was. Some of the guests said they were comfortable with the temperature. It was a very hot and humid day outside. The building is a little bit older so it was difficult to regulate the temperature.Overall, the Lakes of Taylor Golf Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. Our package included two entrees at the buffet, a wedding cake, table linens, and bar. The price was perfect for everything included in our package. The location is close to the airport and great for having a ceremony/reception at the same venue. We couldn't be happier with our choice!

Well maintained local course, very reasonable rates for 18 & cart. Recommend calling for tee time. Friendly staff, good restaurant. Best course Downriver, almost better than GIGCC.
