I just love the food and the atmosphere. I love seeing police presence there. I love the whole family owned an operated. You just gotta Love Maria, Maria, Rosie, George & the hard workers in the backroom! Delicious food, great prices.Great atmosphere.This place is a gem and a blessing.Too many.

The homey feel is what you notice here. Everyone here goes out of the way to make sure you have a great meal.

We stopped by after a car show. We’re not from the area and looked up a good restaurant for breakfast and lunch and Phillips had great reviews so we gave it a shot. We weren’t disappointed, as the food was great, as was the service. The sausage gravy was phenomenal, and they make it fresh in house. The omelets and eggs were delicious, with large portions so you won’t leave hungry. Our server was great, and she made a few suggestions. She even let my wife have a sample of the sausage gravy, which my wife decided on ordering because it’s so good. We really enjoy a family owned diner with great food, and Original Phillips hits the mark!

The staff is awesome! The owners are the best! Anna and I should have visited way sooner! A little gem!

Homely, old school, just like your grandparents

We took some of our clients to this establishment for brunch while on a community outing. Some of the members of our group have disabilities but their behavior was, in my opinion, completely appropriate throughout the meal. A staff member, who was not our server, came over and stated, "don't bring these people back here, they're not behaving well and are disrupting my other customers." Treating people in this manner, especially if it is in relation to a disability, is extremely offensive. I encourage the establishment to provide their staff with additional training on how to treat ALL individuals with compassion and kindness. We will not be returning, but I felt it was important to leave a review to ensure that our refusal to return is because of the staff's behavior, and NOT because we were asked not to return with "these people." Honestly, anyone who treats individuals with disabilities as if they do not have the right to eat a meal in a public restaurant, should be ashamed of themselves.

The staff is AMAZING! When you go there, it’s literally a Family Restaurant!! YOU are part of their family. Highly recommend going.

Incompetent staff today 12:15 2/9/25 sat for 15min no order taken served couple right away that came in after us at 12:30 not the first time this happened will not be back going to flamingo for now on.
