First time here with my family. I don’t remember our waitresses name, she kept calling me “mama”, if that rings a bell for anyone - I thought it was cute and she was really great. I got the chicken enchiladas. The chicken inside the enchiladas was so strange. It was like chicken pellets. Super odd and super weird. The refried beans were not good. To me refried beans should not have full beans in them. The guacamole and the enchilada was super good. And the salsa was very average nothing special about it at all. I was hoping for a good Mexican restaurant in Tecumseh, Michigan, but this was not it.
Pepper's Mexican Grill gave us an excellent meal. My wife had the fiesta platter and I had the pollo bandido — both dishes were extremely flavorful and cooked perfectly. The portions were generous enough that we both ended up with to‑go boxes. The atmosphere was quiet with low lighting, making it a relaxing place to enjoy dinner. Definitely a great spot for quality Mexican food.
