There was only one table left in the bartenders said that we could go sit there. Our waitress said this was reserved for more than four and we told her that we were told to sit . My lunch came out and it took probably at least 15 minutes before my husband came out grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and what not??? What was the delay? They were very busy. Ordered a cheese steak with chips and dip and a porter beer. Overall, the food experience was fine, the cheese steak wasn't better than hoagie man deli. The Tecumseh Tavern seems to be the restyling of the Tecumseh Brewery. Unfortunately, one of the things taken (even if they didn't take this the Tecumseh Brewery did this) was the $2 dipping sauce for chips, which comes in a standard pizza dipping cup. Really thought it would be a dive. Lordy, as much as I dig a great dive, it is anything but, with dive prices. Fantastic, eclectic menu, exceptional service, great drinks. Hell yes, I'll go back.
