had a couple beers and played pool. well maintained pool table, free to play. I would go again. only negative is the young bartender lady was more into her phone than checking on her customers, at least on the day I was there.
From the outside it appears to be the perfect small town, hole in wall bar. The name reminds me of a Willy Nelson movie, lol. Finally had opportunity to check it out, glad I did, it by far exceeded my expectations.
It's a town kinda place, my favorite, with some apparent regulars. The bartender is also the cook.
The lemonade was stout, it had plenty of tart with just enough sweetness, I added a shot of Titos.
The menu is small but, the grilled ham and cheese was certainly not, it was piled high with ham. We got lettuce, onion, tomato and mayo, and 2 of us split it and an order of loaded tots.
Restrooms are very clean.
There are also 5 pool tables.
