We have loved all the Sidelines restaurants but the Smokehouse is our least favorite as the quality varies. Tonight my husband got the sirloin steak medium rare with fries and beans. The steak was charbroiled BLACK. Even a well done steak wouldn’t be as black as that. I can’t believe the cook or the server didn’t look at it and say that’s unacceptable. Great atmosphere, great barbecue and great cocktails that are reasonably priced!
Service was slow on a slow Saturday afternoon. Maybe 7 other people there. While my meal was piping hot my wife's Mac & Cheese was luke warm at best. After ordering it was at least 35-40 minutes before our meal was served. Obviously the wife's Mac & cheese was ready way before mine. If the waitress would have checked on us after serving us they could have at least microwaved the Mac & cheese.
