“This is like the classic “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” Looks like a dump from the exterior, but once you walk inside it is the quintessential Northern Michigan pub. Quaintly adorned with wood panel walls, deer mounts, fish mounts, sparkly Christmas lights, a pellet fireplace, and all the fun of a bar: Keno, Jukebox, Sports on TV, a closet bathroom, LOL! Seriously though, the food is on point! I’ve been there twice, every time food comes out of the kitchen and brought to the table fresh out of the fryer. Hot, Crisp, Tasty. The Dano burger has been my go to so far, as a basket with hand cut Belgian Style fries. Don’t forget the extra side of Chipotle Mayo and the Malt Vinegar! My mouth is watering again and I just ate there like 5 hours ago. I need to go BACK!!!!!!!!!!“
“I heard about this place on Facebook from an old hometown friend and decided to check it out. We went on a Sunday night so it wasnt overly busy. I ordered nachos and my boyfriend ordered a rueben with onion rings. My Nachos had good flavor and since we eat with our other senses as well it was nice to see the colorful plate with veggies and red tortilla chips. The rueben looked amazing with the swirled bread and nice pieces of corned beef. The onion rings had a good flavor and weren't soggy. Looked like it could have been their own batter recipe. Generous portions It was a nice atmosphere decent spacing between tables. It Looked nice and clean. There is a pool table and those kinds of things. And i am told they have good specials. They also have karaoke and eucure on certain nights. Very friendly staff. I will definitely be back on a Saturday to see more.i recommend this place. its worth the drive.“
“We come here quite often! Good burgers, good beer, good fries, jalapeno poppers, and pickle fries, and the list goes on and on! We keep coming back!The only thing I would say in the negative is, it takes a while to get your food on a Sunday afternoon, but with that being said, they are doing the best they can with a smaller crew. And it's worth a little wait time! ? Can't say if it's different other times, because we've only been there on Sundays.“
