La Morenita Reviews
Ohhhh my!! When you are still thinking about a meal you to ate the next morning you know it was delicious!! I had the birria ramen, I am not a huge pasta person at all and this was fire!!! My husband got the chicken street tacos, the chicken was amazing and the tortillas ummmm hands down the best street tacos I’ve ever had!!! We are not people who are easily impressed by restaurants but this place is amazing! Absolutely recommend!! 10 out of 10! We will be going back soon!!
For the little town of Three Rivers, this place is fantastic!
Decided to drive 30 minutes to this restaurant because of some of the tacos that most Mexican restaurants around me don't have (lingua, tripe, etc...). Boy, were we glad we went here. Jesus was on top of things...chips and guacamole came out quickly (it is not a freebie). Guac was delicious as were the chips. La Morenita is a restaurant that serves authentic and delicious Mexican food. The tacos are a highlight, with the chicken street tacos, tripe, steak, and lengua tacos receiving high praise. The birria ramen is described as delicious, and the chorizo quesadilla is also loved. The Al pastor Gordita, arroz con pollo, and quesadillas are really good. The rice is the best Mexican rice ever had. The guacamole and chips are delicious. The tortillas are done right, not soggy and mealy, and the proteins are fresh and prepared perfectly. The salsas, including salsa verde, salsa picante, and a less picante red salsa, enhance the tacos with great flavors and a manageable kick. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The place has beautiful decorations of paper flowers on the wall and a store and meat market available for convenience. Parking can be challenging, and the building is easy to drive past, but the food is worth it. Weekend specials include menudo, carnitas, and barbacoa. The service is great, with chips and guacamole coming out quickly. This place is highly recommended for authentic and delicious Mexican food.
